I come here at least 3x a week — The owner and staff are extremely pleasant. Plus, since they started making their own ice cream, which I didn’t know could get any better, I now come 4x a week bc it’s that good! No chemicals.. The texture is so creamy and you can just tell that it’s made from quality ingredients and in house— not some factory!
This is a nice little ice cream shop. I came with family, and we all enjoyed our waffle cones while relaxing in one of the many chairs in front of the store. I would have given a 5 star had they had a little more variety of flavors. But, overall, we all experienced an enjoyable time.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Melissa's Ice Cream Shop in Nokomis, Florida, and it was an absolute delight! Even though the interior of the store is rather plain, you are quickly compensated by the incredibly delicious selection of ice cream flavors and the warm hospitality of the staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and the real star here is of course the ice cream - simply heavenly! Creamy, fresh and in so many delicious flavors that it's hard to choose....
