This place should be closed, I usually not happy when business close, but I realize this is a dump, the Teonayaki exhibition is a cheap show of nothing, they do nothing such a scam, expensive and the food is discounting, greasy, what a waste of money. From the host from the manager, everyone is just chaos, not organize, bad attitude, you sit there waiting and once they start the coordination of the food preparation is a disaster. The Behinana I remember in NYC the rice was lighter and more balanced: each ingredient was integrated in a more measured way, with delicate flavors and techniques closer to the original teppanyaki style. Whereas the original Benihana paid more attention to Japanese technique and the balance of flavors, even in the fried rice.
Carlos was my favorite habachi specialist so far! His personality along with his ability to cook the Wagyu perfectly was 10 out of 10. I'll definitely be coming back and requesting him.
Benihana was amazing! I went with my friends as a recent big life update celebration We all opted for the Wagyu of the World- a six course culinary tour! Francisco was our waiter who was incredibly attentive and thorough. I got the Rising Sun Lemon Drop that was the perfect amount of sour and sweet and my friends got a Rocky's Margarita, Prickly Pear Margarita and a Cucumber Collins. Everyone loved their drinks, they were satisfying and crafted to perfection! Don't even get me started on the appetizers, hands down best calamari to DATE! Then our Hibachi Chef Wesley arrived and gave us not only and amazing dinner but a beautiful show also. We got the A5 Japanese Tokyo broil, Australian NY Strip and the American Masami Ribeye! for our Wagyu of the world. Everything for all six courses was amazing! I love Benihana, especially for nights and mini celebrations just like this! 💗
I've enjoyed this restaurant many times and usually have a consistently positive experience, which made this recent visit very disappointing. Although the atmosphere was still inviting and the menu offered the same great variety, the service fell short. We waited 20 minutes after being seated, before being acknowledged by a server, and there was very little follow-up throughout our meal. Unfortunately, our food also came out cold on two separate occasions, which took away from dishes we typically enjoy. I still believe this restaurant has a lot to offer based on my past visits, but this particular experience didn't reflect their usual standard. I'm hopeful it was an off day and that future visits will return to the level of quality I've come to expect.
En general el lugar es muy bueno me encanta, el servicio siempre es muy bueno, la comida es excelente, pero la espera fue demasiada espero q solo haya sido xk era dia d veteranos y estaba muy movido,
I really enjoyed my birthday dinner the chef Carlos was very amazing and me and my friends enjoyed our self
I had such a great experience at Benihana! The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked right in front of us — I love how entertaining the chefs are and how they make the whole dining experience fun and interactive. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere had such good energy. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want a night out with great food and vibes, Benihana never disappoints. Definitely one of my go-to spots for dinner with friends or family!
Our server was extremely kind but the show and the food left a lot to be desired. The food was bland and lifeless. The only trick we saw was he flipped an empty lobster tail into his hat and made an onion volcano, we are used to more of a show with throwing food to people and lots of movement. When we were ready to leave, we felt like we were being held hostage. We had our food boxed, then our service staff disappeared and had to ask the hostess, a bartender and 2 different servers before we got our bill after over 20 minutes, our drinks were empty and we were just sitting at a dirty table literally just begging for our check so we could pay and leave. We were celebrating a 50th birthday which they knew of ahead of time, the only dessert option they had was very old, dry pumpkin pie. Really disappointing and we will not be back to Benihanas.
We had a 9:00 PM reservation and arrived at 8:53 PM. As soon as we got there, the host walked away without acknowledging us. Another staff member eventually checked us in and told us to sit near the takeout area. Unfortunately, that area was completely dirty there was food on the floor and the table behind us hadn't been cleaned. To make matters worse, the same person who told us to wait started eating while standing there talking with other employees instead of helping guests. We waited for 30 minutes without anyone coming over to greet us, take an order, or update us on our table. At that point, we decided to leave. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience poor service, unclean environment, and lack of professionalism. Definitely not what we expected with a reservation.
Mila was my server and she was so amazing. The bathrooms were spotless and the food was amazing

The chef seemed new, he made a mess at the table and didn't give us much stools or teriyaki eve though we requested it from the start. He didn't perform the show for us. We mentioned we were celebrating an engagement and he didn't even say a word the whole time. Didn't make it special and the rice was just all over the table, a whole mess
Benihana never disappoints! The chef put on such a GREAT show , he's super talented and funny. Our server was quick, friendly, and made the experience even smoother. The food was on point, ESPECIALLY the variety of wagyu . I enjoyed all i ate, it was all very yummy . It's honestly the perfect spot for dinner & good vibes !!!
I have never experienced something like this before and it was the best thing. They cook right in front of you! The food was great the drinks were great and the service and staff were amazing! The wagyu rice was delicious and so was everything else will definitely have to come back!
We had such a fun time at Benihana last night! Our hibachi chef was so entertaining and skillful — the food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was lively and great for a night out. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun dining experience!
It was good as usual they fixed up the place... still had a while to wait to be seated even with a reservation which sucked... other then that everything was smooth
