The service here is really great and all of the sushi is delicious. However, I find the pricing of single pieces of nigiri and sashimi to be way over priced for the quality. For example, one piece of salmon nigiri is $7 and one piece of o toro tuna is $15. No where else in Miami are prices that high except for fine dining. I came here from a Reddit recommendation for another casual sushi spot if you don’t want to deal with Katana’s waitlist. Had 3 rolls and they were good, fish tasted fresh and seaweed wasn’t too chewy. I didn’t care much for Marie roll (the sauce flavor was too strong) but the simple rolls were good though small. Overall I recommend if you’re in the area.
Small and cozy Japanese food where you should go for what’s not offered elsewhere. I recommend you pick what you’ve never tried in other places. Otherwise why go in the first place?! Erika delights you with her own creations. I’ll start with dessert! Lychee ice cream or sorbet, not sure of the category but it was simply a real surprise- Order it! The Lexi sandwich, a must!
