Atmosphere was simple but clean and pleasant. Service was attentive. Homemade chips and salsa were the best we have had! My fajita quesadilla was very fresh and not over cheesy. Hubby had the lunch beef burrito and taco. Not bad, just neither of us like that super ground up beef (almost like baby food) but many Mexican restaurants have that. They do charge a credit card fee. Prices were very reasonable. We’ll go back for sure!

Everything was delicious! Homemade chips and salsa—the best I’ve ever had. I can say the same for the service. Dinner was perfect and amazing. Ordered a jalapeño margarita, and it was fantastic! We will be back with friends. Highly recommend for authentic Mexican food.

Good service, but poor food quality. The lack of fresh ingredients is noticeable. Tastes like Sysco’s finest, everything from a can.
Poor overall food. Rare steak is sell, vegetables are cold others hot but raw.

Margaritas were perfect, the jalapeno margarita has enough jalapenos to make it a tasty but slow drink. Only stopped for margaritas this time but will be back for the menu items.

We always have a great experience here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the food is consistently delicious. We have been to many Mexican restaurants in the area and Monte Alban is our favorite!

Food was ok 8 out of 10 for me. Drinks and atmosphere were great.
Would have liked to try the food but when we arrived at 8pm we were told they were closed when we walked in, even though online & on the door it states 9pm. No appology no nothing. It’s okay because we went next door to Pu Thai & can safely say was the best of the 2 choices anyways. Large menu, great food, friendly staff.

Waiter was a hoot. Food was very hot (temp) and tasty. Paid $20 including tip for lunch.
