By far the best place to buy meats in Tamarac. In today's high price world, if you don't know how to budget shop or buy in bulk when the mathematics makes sense you are losing money. Most important If you don't know how to calculate prices to lb or oz and assume bulk is saving you money, corporate greed study people like you and bank on your inability to catch them in a scam. If you don't believe me, next time you're at Walmart and you see something like butter single four stick container but right next to it, two containers wrapped in plastic which you would assume is less money. That's a pretty simple mathematic problem. Take the single onex 2 and I guarantee you the double pack is more money. It's a game I hate way too much from stores you're supposed to trust . However Broward meat has been a no-nonsense easy to buy large quantities for good prices. If I want ribeye steaks last time I went in there I asked for a large rib roast I believe was $175. However if you know how to carve out the bone and have a nice sharp knife to cut yourself single portion steaks and individually seal bag them. I believe I had almost 20 stakes with that last rib roast. Try buying 20 single ribeye stakes and see how much that will cost you. They're also great at other meets. I also need to mention the cashiers in this place. I don't know who's training them but they blow away any any cashiers from any place with their efficiency. I watch these cashier Scan and bag three or four items all at once in one motion. All I do is put the bags in the basket and I can barely keep up with them. I go by my meats and some other items at this place then go down the street to a regular grocery store for the rest but that other cashier will put me to sleep watching them work. The lines are so backed up that most people will take a chance at self-checkout with the possibility now of loss runs, making a mistake and checking your receipts and your groceries because some facial recognition software might have gone rogue now that we all know about that, the cashier lines are forever long and so slow. I have put back my groceries just so I wouldn't have to wait an hour to cash out. A-line to cash out at Broward meats 5 to 10 minutes at the most. You're out of there. I always ask them if they know how fast they are compared to everyone else and they just laugh. This place gets a five star for how they train their staff all around.

I often come here to buy items that I typically would not find in the general American type grocery stores. Mostly I get the items from the West Indian and Caribbean aisles. Spices, canned items, pantry items along with a lot of other ingredients and different types of meat. One of the things that I especially like to get from here is the goat meat, which to me is the best deal that you’ll find for this type of me in the area. It’s generally sold per pound, and when you approach the counter, you just simply let them know how many pounds you would like, they bag it up weigh it and give you the price.
They also have a fresh fish counter where you will find things that is not very common and most other grocery stores. The value here is great. The staff is friendly and the store is always well stocked, clean and organized.

Clean, packed, big, but priced on meat varies from time to time when not on sale. Generally a great place to shop for groceries.

Not as good as it was before. The beef quality is really borderline.

Placed an order at the deli department for the no salt turkey breast and prosciutto. Didn’t have no salt turkey but they had low salt, so I ordered that. The turkey was supposed to be sliced thin and if anyone eats prosciutto it HAS TO BE VERY THIN. When I opened the pack for the turkey it was sliced thick. I put the turkey to the side and said to myself, I could imagine what the prosciutto is gonna look like. When I opened it, the way this person cut it, was THE SAME SIZE AS THE TURKEY “THICK”. The person that did this was incompetent to read the instructions of how I wanted the meat sliced. I took it to work because I was sharing it with two of my coworkers. They wanted to know where I got it from and told them. Well they also won’t visit that store anymore. Disgraceful and disgraced.

Very comfortable place to shop friendly staff and good cook food especially at the Margate branch the only thing that is currently missing is the lack of adequate staff on the floor to assist customers instead of customers going to the cashier or any of the counters for help

Beware, Please make sure you are counting your fishes here. I ordered 3 fishes. He scaled the 3 fishes and gave me 2. Then the manager lady is telling me they weighed the same price. She didn't even helped me. How can this be that the manager benisabel, is of no help. Then they received the fish and Iwas right. Smh

I had catered here before and the food just keeps getting worse and worse . I gave it another shot thinking maybe it was the holidays so the pernil might have just been dry. I catered for my son's graduation party and the food was a total FAIL. First they gave me the wrong food and we had to go back, then the amounts ordered were wrong. When we finally went home to serve we realized the rotisserie chicken was curry chicken. The pernil once again was very dry the rice was mushy. I was completely embarrassed. I left a message for the manager Frank and still had no response. Completely disappointed and literally apologized to my guess...best part those who ate for sick!!!!!!! Stay sway!!

This place has good meat and the service isn't bad, but it does smell a bit unpleasant.
