Everything was perfect, I'm from out of town visiting with my kiddos. The options were plenty, everything was available, service excellent, very clean and everything delicious.

The food was absolutely incredible I drove from atl to Miami and decided that I had to check it out and it was worth the hype, minimal to no wait , welcoming environment, the staff was friendly and professional, definitely would go back 😋😋

Officially my new favorite Jamaican spot. Their Jamaican patties are to die for their jerk chicken has a nice kick and is very juicy. I’ve tried so many Jamaican spots in south Florida and I almost gave up trying to find juicy and flavorful jerk chicken, happy I finally found some. I’ll be here as often as I can be 😂😋

Listen, this restaurant food is delicious! The Oxtails, super tender, melts in your mouth. The cabbage and rice & beans, omg! It's nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. I live in Tampa and anytime I come back this way, I will definitely make a stop to Island Favor Cafe! November 10th 2025, my 60th birthday, I so glad we chose to go there to eat. Kisses to the chefs and staff!😘😘😘

The rice was so bland and the jerk chicken wasn’t even jerk chicken THEY SERVE BAKED CHICKEN AND THEN ADD NASHVILLE SEASONING ON IT AFTER. And I asked for Jerk sauce they gave me a cup of jerk season to add to my already baked chicken that’s filled with Nashville seasoning 🤢🤢🤢 NASTY I WON’T BE BACK! Such a waste of money and gas to go that far for nasty food

My co-workers raved about this Jamaican restaurant that I just had to try. So came in today really nice aesthetically. However, there is a sever there that is extremely unprofessional and actually turned me right off! She was very rude hence the review.

Food is great but my god are they rude. I just had the most insane interaction with the woman who took my order. I ordered rice without peas and she said “we don’t have rice without peas- we have peas with rice and white rice” I said, well it would be the white rice then right? Then she asked when I would be in to get the food and I said as soon as possible. She said as soon as possible isn’t a time, you need to give me a time or we won’t make the order. Then I gave her a time and she hung up on me. She was just looking for a fight, it was absurd. The foods great but I’ll never be back, and I’ll never tell anyone to go there.

I have ordered here before and normally I would walk in and place my order, but this particular evening my daughter wanted a wrap and last time she walked in they told her the wraps are made to order and she would have to call to place an order for the wraps. Well I called to place a pick up order and the young lady picked up the call and asked could I hold for one minute. When 10 minutes passed I called on my other line and never got through. I proceeded to head over there after 30 minutes and while was on the line waiting she hung up and so, I called back and the same lady picked up, and I said ma’am you had me on hold over 30 minutes and never picked up the line. She said, she didn’t know that and she don’t know anyone was on hold? I was dumbfounded and she said what you wanna place an order I said yes. When I asked about the wrap she said, they are not making any wraps for the rest of the night. Go figure!! They need to work on their customer service and not sure what she had going on she had me on hold that long. I have been there in the evenings and it’s not that busy to have me on hold for over 30 minutes. No apologies and I am sorry for having you on hold. Just a nonchalant like she didn’t do anything wrong. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!

I visit this restaurant pretty often and was always pleased with exception of yesterday..seems as if they hired a new server. She’s unprofessional and will only turn customers off. Management need to fix this.
