Huge plates we'll worth the price. Great NY style deli in North Miami. Great variety of deli meats, spreads, and baked goods. Love this place highly recommend it.

Always a hit. My boys have allergies and they love BBE so it says a lot about how they accommodate. Great variety. Big portions. Friendly staff. I always try something new each visit. Today, quite possibly the best turkey club I’ve had.

The corned beef sandwich was piled high and just perfect. Loved the Matzo soup and the potato salad is one of a kind. My NEW go to place for lunch 💯💯💯

Very yummy Reuben sandwich!
The coleslaw is a chopped coleslaw, so I would opt for a different side if you like a more traditional one

My potatoes were extremely burnt/crispy. The bagel was good but was prepared different. I would get a bagel egg ham cheese sandwich and it was like scrambled eggs with diced ham and a small amount of ham. It was still delicious but not prepared the way it’s usually prepared.

Miami is a city that thrives on flash—oceanfront brunches, neon cocktails, overpriced everything. But tucked away since the late 2000s is a place that doesn’t give a damn about any of that: Bagel Bar East. I found it in 2009, and I’ve been chasing that flavor ever since.

The bagels here aren’t some Instagram prop—they’re the kind that fight back when you bite in. Dense, chewy, with a crust that cracks just enough before giving way. They taste like work—like someone got up at an ungodly hour, boiled them, baked them, and put them on the counter still steaming because that’s what you do when you actually care.

This isn’t a “concept.” It’s a bagel shop. You line up with regulars, construction guys, nurses just off the night shift, and families herding kids who only want chocolate chip. Coffee comes quick, service comes with a little edge if you’re slow to order, and everything about it feels earned.

Call it the best bagel in Miami, maybe the only bagel in Miami worth a damn. It’s not hype—it’s survival food dressed up as breakfast. And if you know, you know.

We visited the Bar today and their food is always good and we must be good customers because they gave Bar hats and shirts. The food was again good but when you serve hot eggs you should have your bagel served either before your eggs or with your eggs and today we got this one server who can’t seem to do this . So after both of us waiting 5 minutes for our bagels , he brings the bagels and I must ask why can’t you bring the bagels before the eggs or with them . He says , no apology but you must ask him to do this . Well I have eaten at Bagel Cove and Roasters they always bring the bagels either before or with the meal .When I went to ask the owner Steve about this he said you have to ask for this the bagels with the food . I said this is hot food that is getting cold . He agreed and said “It’s tough out there in the world “ again very sarcastic to a customer. I paid my check and yes I shocked my head and then Steve the waiter mocked me saying look he is shaking his head . Well Steve you lost a customer but you seem like you couldn’t care less .The hats and shirts well you know what will do with them .
