There is no more unique and nostalgic feeling than having a spoonful of the flavor of one's land in your mouth, the Venezuelan restaurant that took me to Colombia with a simple salad, the inevitable tears of feeling at home after a couple of years, thank you Mantis coffee for putting love into each dish. 🙏🏾

The food was good, fresh, and a family-owned business. I got cachapa with a generous cheese portion. Arepa filled out with huevos revueltos (perico),
I will try lunch next time.

The best empanadas, the one from pabellón, divine and very good price.

If you want a perfectly cooked, thin, crunchy crust Venezuelan arepa, this is the place. With abundant filling and authentic handmade Venezuelan cheese. Nothing fancy, just authentic folk food. It’s a quick stop from Surfside. Don’t forget to try their coconut ice cream on its shell!!

I am Venezuelan and I came to this place basically to support it, but I did not have a good experience. I ordered a soup that came with arepa, the arepa was fried. I told the man that I didn't eat fried food and asked him if it was possible for him to change the arepa for a roasted one. I had really imagined eating my soup with an arepa and he didn't say no, but he gave me a number of reasons to say so. another way. Then I ordered a cachapa and it was covered in margarine, if I had known it had margarine I wouldn't order it. I didn't eat it and they didn't even make the move to ask me why I didn't eat it. I think this place lacks a little love in its attention and needs to think about how people's ways of eating have changed. You can't sell a cachapa with margarine if it doesn't say it has it. People have the right to know what they are going to eat.

The soup? 10/10....The price? 4/10 It is absurd that you pay $35 for two soups with ONE teeny tiny arepa. Nah, it's just not worth it. Oh! Another wonderful point is the wait; waiting 20+ min for two soups.Soup? 10/10.... The price? 4/10. What's wrong with them? How are they going to charge $35 for 2 beef soups with a measly arepa that is the size of a baby's hand. The taste is good but not $35 good, it's a soup at the end of the day. We only bought it because I was craving it but I will never eat there again in my life. Oh and on top of that my husband waited more than 20+ minutes for the soups to be given to him (the soups are supposed to be made, why the wait?) Anyway, I don't know what's wrong with Vzlano restaurants and I'm a Vzlana.
