The concept isn’t new. Conveyor belt sushi with plates floating around has been done before. That said, Sushi Lucy executes it well. The ambience is great, with proper lighting, clean surroundings, and a much more polished feel compared to similar places.

The sushi was okay, but not impressive for the price point, especially considering the color-coded plates. I’ve been to other spots with similar pricing and noticeably better quality. The value proposition doesn’t fully land.

That said, this is a good place for light eaters or anyone not looking to go all-in on quantity or premium cuts. It’s also a nice spot for casual conversation or even dining solo without feeling rushed or out of place.

The staff deserves credit. Very welcoming, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, which helps the overall experience.

Pros: Clean space, good ambience, friendly staff
Cons: Sushi quality doesn’t quite match the pricing

Overall, not a destination sushi spot, but a solid option for a relaxed, casual dinner.

I visited Sushi Lucy for my first time, expecting a proper dining experience, but what we encountered was complete disorganization.

The restaurant advertises a boat-style service, yet there was absolutely no food on the boats. When we asked the waiter, we were told that nothing was available unless it was specially prepared in the kitchen, which completely defeats the purpose of this concept. Meanwhile, the sushi chef was focused on making sashimi instead of sushi, and multiple customers who arrived before us were already complaining about the lack of food and excessive wait times.

We waited over 30 minutes without receiving a single item. When we asked for an explanation, staff admitted that the restaurant was not prepared to handle all seats being occupied—an unacceptable excuse for any establishment that continues seating guests.

Poor planning, misleading service concept, long delays, and zero communication made this experience frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this place at all unless there is a serious improvement in management and operations.

I think the main problem with this place is the prices. How is seaweed salad alone $7.50, the same price as some of the sushi rolls? They also lack a variety of foods being placed on the boats there should be dumplings, deserts, etc. there’s only some basic sushi rolls and seaweed salad cause who would pay that much for that honestly. Staff was nice but food was also just not even that good for the price and only 5 pieces for $10 sushi

Decided to try this radiant after being ignored at another sushi restaurant down the street. We ,unfortunately, came near closing. Staff were very transparent with us yet very accommodating. Food was great and still fresh! Service was good. I would come back for the eel and cucumber rolls alone.

Do you want to try a different dinning experience? Then you have to try out Sushi Lucy. So, have you heard of water kaiten? Well, water kaiten consists of sushi boat moving along through a trough filled with water. You can pick the sushi plates off the boats as the come around or you can order off the menu. If you pick the plates, note that they charge you by the different color plates.

The sushi was very fresh and was delicious. You could really over do it if you're not careful... Have fun and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I didn’t like this place. The sushi is not that good, very expensive and the worst part is that you don’t know what you are eating. No description of the plates in the menu or by the waiter.

Terrible Experience – Food Poisoning and Inexcusable Customer Service

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant on a Sunday evening. By the next morning, I woke up with a severe reaction — intense nausea, stomach pain, and fatigue. A doctor later confirmed it was food poisoning, most likely from the tuna I ate there. Let me be clear: I’ve eaten tuna, sushi, and all kinds of seafood my entire life and have never experienced anything like this. I don’t have any allergies. This wasn’t random — this was clearly a case of negligence.

We contacted the restaurant right away to let them know — not to make a scene, but to warn them in case others had been affected too. We sent a doctor’s letter, photos, and a detailed explanation of the timeline. Their response? They offered me a free meal, which felt like an insult. Why would I ever return to a place that made me this sick?

What made it worse was how they treated us — as if we were fabricating the whole thing. No apology. No real concern. No refund for the meal that caused this — just denial and complete disregard.

I’m incredibly disappointed and frustrated by how they handled this. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they’ve provided proof and approached the situation respectfully. I hope this review serves as a warning, and that no one else has to go through what I did.

10/10 for me! Dined here with my husband, service was quick, no wait time. Staff was attentive, polite and overall very nice. Sushi tasted very fresh and good selection to choose from the little boats alone. We will be coming back!🍣

I love this place! I always have a good time and the food is fresh and delicious! The wait wasn't long. I loved watching the boats of food coming. The server was able to help me as I am allergic to shellfish. She knew all of the dishes and helped me pick those I could eat.

We had a great experience! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and everything we tried was delicious. We went on a Saturday night and were seated quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. It was a fun and unique way to try different rolls as they came around. Highly recommend!

It was our first time at Sushi Lucy, I love the floating boats concept and all the variety. the food was great, very fresh, and the spicy tuna crunchy roll was my favorite. The service started off shaky, then we decided to ask a different waitress/attendant a question, and she was super nice and answered all our questions. She made the night fun for us. We will definitely be going back. Im sorry I forgot the lady's name, but lady, you rock. Thank you, Sushi Lucy!
