It was our first time at Sushi Lucy, I love the floating boats concept and all the variety. the food was great, very fresh, and the spicy tuna crunchy roll was my favorite. The service started off shaky, then we decided to ask a different waitress/attendant a question, and she was super nice and answered all our questions. She made the night fun for us. We will definitely be going back. Im sorry I forgot the lady's name, but lady, you rock. Thank you, Sushi Lucy!

I’ve passed by this place every day for years and finally decided to try it. Can’t believe what I’ve been missing out on. All of the sushi is so fresh and delicious, staff is so kind and attentive, and the prices are great. Right when you walk in, there’s a great vibe and you can feel how clean the place is. Can’t wait to go back, definitely recommend!!!

Took my girlfriend to her very first rotating sushi bar. The options were not plentiful. I definitely kept seeing the same stuff coming over. The two plates that I ate we're tasty but some of the sushi rolls that my girlfriend got were not so tasty. The menu options were good so if you're going there I suggest you just do food from the menu.

Sushi, service and atmosphere were mid. Not sure why it’s so overpriced

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Not built or prepared to deliver High quality service at High Volume in such a small place.DO NOT Bring Family if you expect them to be taken care of efficiently and thoroughly other than that it's just a waiting Game ! GO TO SUSHI SONG !!!!!

Cute Place, Sushi was normal, The salmon Sashimi was fresh, but I think is super overpriced, I am a sushi fan and know all the sushi spots in miami and for 6 plates I spend $42 in katana, here was the same 6 plates $76, expensive for what it is! And there was a rare barbecue smell at the restaurant super unpleasant.

The worst thing is that I ask for a piece of lime for the ice tea and they charge me 50cents and also for a ponzu sauce and they charge also 50cents.(the bottle of ponzu sauce at publix cost $3)

In Katana they dont charge you for sauce or lemon
and ice tea have refills.

The entrepreneur must do things that attract customers so they come back. That's the trick! Charging for half a lemon, half a tea, or sauces is terrible.

And plus they have the menu as well.

It’s not living up to the hype. Sushi quality is good. It’s pricey and service is not prepared for a full restaurant. They will probably get better with time. For now I would not go back and return to Katana. Where you might have to wait for a seat but once you are seated they are fast, attentive and the food : price relation is on point.
To say something nice. Their beer selection and also serving it ice cold in a cold glass was the best of the night. So I still went home happy!

PS

I was really excited to try this conveyor belt sushi spot after seeing some cute pictures, but my experience was pretty disappointing.

It took about 20 minutes just to get seated, and once we did, I ordered a green tea, water, and a JB Tempura roll. When I asked if they could remove the avocado, the waitress said it wasn’t possible since the rolls are premade and fried. I figured I could just pick it out, but when it arrived, it was literally just avocado and salmon—no cream cheese. So, I didn’t eat it and ended up ordering a basic salmon and cream cheese roll instead, which was disappointing since it wasn’t what I originally wanted.

The portions were tiny—shockingly small for the price. I’ve been to plenty of better sushi spots that give you way more for your money. And to top it off, I never even got my green tea or water, despite sitting at the table for over an hour.

On the plus side, the waitress was nice and friendly, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. If you’re looking for good sushi with reasonable portions, I’d recommend going somewhere else.
