“Ate here for the first time today. The service was quick and friendly. Prices were good. We had two of the pulled pork sandwiches. They were excellent. Plenty of meat and good bread. Had hush puppies as a side and they were great but did get a little soft on the ride home. Probably better for dine in Would recommend!“
“As a Texan with a constant craving for good BBQ, I've been disappointed by Florida's offerings – until I found this place. It's the only spot worthy of claiming to serve Texas BBQ. The brisket sandwich was phenomenal, with perfect flavor and juicy brisket. This place won’t serve you dry brisket like other local joints…. The service was excellent, and with the owners hailing from Texas, the Texas spirit shines through. It felt like a taste of home in Florida.“

“Snook Haven was recommended by a friend, so we decided to give it a try. This is definitely a hidden location off the beaten path while driving in. We even saw a Bobcat. The restaurant nestled way back in the woods on the Myakka River. What an awesome location , You have 2 options. You can eat inside and be served or order your meal and sit outside by live music, We ordered the cat fish dinner with homemade chips, 2 sides option, and collard greens and a smash cheese burger with home made chips and a side salid , Thay have a homemade tomato relish that is unreal, our server Katie D. Was very friendly and informative. One thing I did notice is the whole staff is working with a smile , definitely a hidden jem a must visit. I forgot to mention. We also ordered the peach cobbler and a monster size brownie.“

“As a lithuanian, I was so happy to see a menu with foods that remind me of back home. The pulled pork was absolutely delicious and it paired so well with the baby potatoes + dill, and the fermented cabbage salad was just like my grandmas! I’ll be excited to order from here whenever they’re in my neighborhood again.“
