FUGU HIBACHI & SUSHI

2019: Great Hibachi! Love this place! 5 stars

2021: Unfortunately this place has gone a bit down hill since my initial review. The last 5-6 time we ate here they didn’t include avocado in our mexican rolls, and cut down on the veggies in their hibachi and have changed some ingredients. It’s a shame because this place used to be my favorite. Must be new management or something. 3 stars now :(

2026: they’re doing pretty good, prices went up a bit. Bumping back up to 4 stars

Food was excellent. Service was great and fast. Sushi and sashimi were so fresh!! This was a random stop on the way to Tampa but from now on it's gonna be a planned stop.

I've been coming here for over a year now regularly with the boys. We enjoy it so much it has become a weekly tradition. The food is always consistently great, and the staff and owners really care about their customers. It's not a place you'd expect full service, yet we find the service to regularly go above and beyond. Seriously, it started off as a quaint hole in the wall place and has come a very long way. Highly recommend the clear soup and chicken hibachi. They recently added some very nice decor to the front windows, its a very nice touch to the atmosphere. It's very unsuspecting when you see from the parking lot, once you're inside its a totally different place.

My favorite place for salmon sashimi. Always sweet and fresh fish. I drive from Cape coral just to get sashimi from this restaurant. It is so different from anywhere else. The best part are the prices. I got 10 BIG slices of salmon sashimi for $24. In fort myers that would be double for okay sashimi. Just a fantastic place. I go here on special occasions. Dont let the small atmosphere fool you. Hidden gem. Very nice staff.
Hey Fugu Hibachi if you are reading this I have only one suggestion. Include salmon skin salads on your menu. Ill never leave!

Used to eat here all the time, gave it a try again, sushi was warm, rice was room temp, but the morning after. I now have food poisoning.
Fever, chills, diarrhea, horrible cramps. Just fantastic.

I eat sushi often. But can’t eat it from here ever again.

We get sushi from here twice a month it's great everytime and a fair price. We have also had the hibachi chicken with yum yum sauce it was delicious. Highly recommend!!

I went here on a whim because it was cold and I wasnt feeling the best. I asked them if I could get something without gluten in it and they were easily able to get me a combination chicken shrimp steamed rice bowl. It made me smile when they even handed me a few gluten free soy sauce packets. I didnt even know they made those. I will be back for sure.

my friends and I came in and ate here, the sever was nice, but the food was not it, I got the Philadelphia roll and the cream cheese and avocado were both really warm, and the avocado tasted bad. Waste of money.

Okay, wow. For a small plaza sushi joint, this was phenomenal.
I ordered the Salmon Lover and Tuna Lover, and wow.
- The fish tasted very fresh,
- rice was perfect and fluffy.
- Poke bowls were amazing; they gave a generous amount of fish.

Will be coming here very often when I'm craving fast sushi.

My girlfriend and I both got food poisoning. We each had sushi rolls. My girlfriend has been very very ill.
