I can't think of 1 positive remark for Popeyes in North Port, FL
If the seating area cleanliness is any indication of the cleanliness of the kitchen there is a problem
Kiosk only ordering. No one interested in coming up front to take orders or answer questions.
The food was overpriced.
Service was too slow for the number of employees working.
The chicken is thin, layered strips of chicken, not whole pieces of chicken. We only ate about 1/3 of our meals.
Even the Dr. Pepper was inadequate...watered down/flat.
I think the restaurant might need a visit from the health department.
Sorry Popeyes. You can to much better.

Not gonna out them on blast by name, but employees left a note in my food to leave them a good review. I almost never write poor ones, but I’m having a had day & this was supposed to be the 1 good part of it. I ordered spicy, received plain, they initially forgot my drink, & when I asked for it, they gave it to me with the lid not on all the way & it spilt all over my lap. Sorry, guys, you have great smiles, but I was in the service industry too & if you’re going to ask for a review, you need to double-check that everything in the order is perfect. And “if you enjoyed your experience, a good review is the best compliment you can pay us” verbally is a better idea than a hand-written note.

25+ minute wait for one chicken sandwich

Top 5 worst Popeyes restaurants I’ve been to.
all the chicken we ordered were dry, super oily, and tasted a day old. Fries were cold, super soggy, and just thrown in a separate paper bag. They had little to no condiments, and were completely out of ranch. Building and bathrooms were overall dirty.

The food was not edible and we’re not going back.

Been here a few times, everytime service has been very slow. Ordered at the speaker, drove up and paid. Told to pull up and park, waited about 30 minutes for our food. Almost seemed like there was only one young man working there because that’s who I saw the whole time. Food was really hot and good. Just need a better foundation/team to make things more efficient in the future.

The struggle on the bus is real with this establishment. Attempted to place an order at the speaker and the confusion was too extreme so up to the window we went. The struggle only continued from there with the excuse of it being a new system. Hey, that’s fine, but then have an experienced manager around to help out, right? After the order was finally placed, told to pull up and wait. Ten or so minutes later we had to go inside and see what’s up because this “fast food” joint clearly was missing that mark. The employees were mostly standing around while one person was somewhat attempting to get things out. Assumed after the wait the food would hot and fresh, but alas, lukewarm and subpar. I am not sure when working this type job had knowing rocket science requirements, but I’m guessing that’s now what’s going on since it just isn’t computing for this place. The manager(s) and owners should be embarrassed how this place operates. No wonder AI is taking over our jobs. It’s clearly needed, especially considering none of the food is getting cheaper.

The drive-through attendant was unprofessional, had a hard time hearing me, and caught an attitude, making it very uncomfortable. On top of that, I had to drive up and wait for my food for about 10-13 minutes. Even after getting it, I had to go back and ask for fresh food because the quality was so bad. I understand that the workers are young but this is not acceptable.

I went Today with my mom and son for dinner. Service was great Food was really good.However my fries were cold. They were still good though but cold.. I have always loved popeye's

Not spicy enough, probably not marinated enough time. Then had to wait because no spicy was ready for the next 12min

Really amazing Popeyes. I’ve lived in a few different states and frequented other Popeyes, I genuinely do not think they compare. Chicken was hot, moist, perfectly seasoned, with the addition of fresh fries I really can’t ask for more. I got so many napkins. The actual amount of napkins I need in order to be able to wipe my hands for grease, and then some. And it’s beautiful.
5 stars. Would drive out of my way for it again

I gave it a three only because the chicken was crispy and fresh. And the front cashier was trying her best to keep up. This location is very unorganized. Needs to be managed better.
