Our experience was outstanding! The oysters Wellenfellar (sp) were amazing and we enjoyed the scallops and salmon.
The two fish entrees were dried/ The pasta was cold. Our serves was great and served my father's dietary needs. Area has poor acoustics.
Menu items look good, salmon was amazing, filet minion was great, recommend vegetables instead of fries, excellent wine
Nice location and amazing service. The desert was outstanding! The steak was tender but overcooked. Will try again and hope for a better steak.
First time there celebrating my birthday. It was great! Love the ambiance. Service was great. Food was delicious! Then we stepped outside and got to hear and see live band music playing. It was very nice.
We made outdoor reservations because no seats were available inside. The rainy weather interrupted our original seating options but the hostess was creative and able to keep the reservation by shifting us to the front of the restaurant. This area was covered, just less intimate and the seating was a smidge less comfortable because it shared the walkway of the promenade with other shops. Nevertheless the server friendly and prompt, drinks were perfect, food was outstanding with generous portions. There was also a live band playing for Octoberfest. Overall, we had a pleasant, casual dining experience. I recommend to others and would definitely revisit this place.
This has been one of our favorite spots, but last night it fell short. We will give it another try and hope for better service next time. The ambience was quite nice, as always. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and welcomed by our waitperson. Then things started to slide. He brought everyone's pre-dinner drinks except for my husband's; we waited a while and had to flag him down to remind him. Same thing happened again with my husband's wine order with our meal. When we'd finished our meals, he cleared some of our party's dirty dinner plates and left others on the table. He took our dessert orders and still didn't return to clear our dirty dishes. Then desserts were delivered and I had to request that dirty plates were taken before desserts were set down. There was no offer of coffee or similar dessert drinks. This was not the service we were used to at Villani.
We have been to Villani's quite a few times and we were always pleased. Last night we went there and again, we were very pleased with the food. I would like to comment on the service from Stuart, which was AMAZING and EXCEPTIONAL. He is the BEST server we have ever had. He made our dining experience beyond wonderful. His timing of the food and taking our orders made our evening having dinner with friends the best we have ever experienced. We will always ask for him when we go to Villani's so we can repeat this amazing experience again.

You don't need to go to SRQ for an excellent meal...it's right here! We were inside and seated by 6 with our choice of tables. By 7 pm they had a full house. Make reservations! I had the pork chop (extremely tender) with brown bourbon gravy and garlic mashed potatoes. It was heavenly. My husband had the chicken Parm and loved it (enough left over for lunch the next day.) we had the summer special 2 for $60. Their house wine was excellent! The grouper bites app was perfectly cooked and delicious. The dessert was to share, but we ordered the chocolate pecan pie and it came as two pieces of pie plated with dark chocolate and whipped cream. To die for! This was our first time at Villani. With the summer Prix Fixe menu it was very affordable and the food was the best we've had in a long while. Our server, Dillon, made it a wonderful experience all around .

Was very excited to try this restaurant. We went on a Saturday night and went early (5pm). Cute, casual atmosphere. Started off with some really good cocktails, but the disappointment began when we ordered the $97 seafood tower only to be told they were “out of crab” (I think they meant they never bought any crab because how are you out of crab Saturday night at the start of dinner?). Well, they let us substitute so we got more clams. The tower had shrimp, raw oysters, raw clams, and was all very fresh. Would’ve been so much better with crab legs. The Oysters Wellenfeller, I’m sorry, was one of the worst dishes any of us had ever tried. The muscles marinara was good. Desserts were average. Service was excellent, we had Benjamin who was a doll.

Fantastic food, uncomfortable chairs. Chairs are from Walmart- literally 1st class restaurant with the cheapest seating possible

My wife and I went for dinner last Sunday evening and the hype was justified! Our server, Alexis, took very good care of us and was super helpful on answering any questions we had on dinner choices. We started off with the grouper bites and sweet chili sauce. I could have eaten about 2 more orders of them, they were that fantastic. I had the pork chop with the bourbon steak sauce (that was next level) and my wife had the roughy special, which she loved. Finishing the evening off with their challah bread pudding and chocolate pecan pie was the perfect book end to a wonderful dinner experience.
