I travel for work and find Mead halls wherever I can. Some of them are forgettable and some are pretty good. Brewlihan stands out above all the mediocre and even most of the really good places I have sipped!!The service was very good…but the mead?The Meads are an ambrosia laced magic concoction that was clean and delicious!!If you like true meads, melomels, or metheglins you will not be disappointed. I am so glad I will be back in the area for work soon! Sköl!!

I have personally enjoyed John’s delicious beverages well before his commercial space opened. I can attest, his drinks are some of the best flavors I’ve ever experienced in mead. He takes a heavy approach to detail to perfect his mead each and every time. The tap room is quaint and presentable and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. We go ever time we visit family in town.

If you just want a cool place to hang where you’ll feel like family and forgot about the world for awhile, that’s right, go to Brewlihan. I have gone to many meaderies since trying Brewlihan’s products and I’ve got to say, nothing has compared. It’s almost as if my life is on a timeline that starts with “BB” (Before Brewlihan) and finishes “AB” (After Brewlihan). Just do yourself a favor and go.

If you've had mead before and didn't like it this is still a must visit because chances are you didn't have good mead. If you're a beer fan or a wine fan this is still a must visit. The variety in offerings means you will struggle to find something you do not like. The staff is wonderful from their excellent customer service to in-depth knowledge of the product and process. I always learn something new when I visit. The regulars are super friendly and I can't recommend the place enough.
