“Wonderful Thai food. The smells you get walking in are a good sign of what's to come. Interior makes the most of what space it has and is a beautiful place to eat. Tried Shrimp Sashimi for the first time and it was super flavorful and spicy! I loved it. This is my go to take out spot in Oakland Park if you like comfort food with loads of flavor. Bethany was the server and did a wonderful job while I chilled at the bar.”

“I have loved this restaurant since 2000!!! I used to work nearby. I just went yesterday and it is STILL exactly the same deliciousness I always get carne asada it comes with cheese enchilada, rice, beans, and guacamole and sour cream. I always switch the yellow rice and black beans to white rice and cheesy refried beans. They are fast to serve the food and never have I ever anything but perfect service. Next time we will stick to the Açaí Bowls and Smoothies. Seems that is their forte.”

“This place is center at a great location. I've went there several times for many occasions. The Food is delicious! From the rice to the other serving sauce, the drinks are home-made, you get that real taste not that artificial, unhealthy stuff. You get a good amount of food for the price. Service staff are great. They welcome me with a smile each time I visit but don't expect a discount on anything. The atmosphere is pleasant l. As you eat, you will hear some great Kompa music that will get you dancing. Overall, this place is a great restaurant to visit and deserve my review.

Parking: Alot of parking space. Be careful though when cross street if park across the restaurant

“Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007.

I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen.

The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños.

I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.”

“If you actually like coffee and not just drown it in sugar and cream you will find they have some unique types of coffee here. The guava cookie was fantastic. What they have brewed changes from time to time based on what's available so keep an open mind and be ready to enjoy.”

“We were a group of 10 people and walked into Perry's Wings 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening. The awesome staff at Perry's went over and above and served us some sumptuous wings, oxtail & jollof rice. Mandy the executive Chef & owner went the extra mile and was present and engaged with the customers until closing. I recommend Perry's Wings as a perfect brunch, lunch or dinner restaurant. They have good food and beverages and awesome customer service.”

We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. “I'm a fan of the Mexican TORTA, and El Papi specializes in them. This local bakery/restaurant lets you stare at beautiful breads and baked goods while you await your order. I chose Carne asida but what set my torta apart was the GLORIOUS BREAD! first off, it was the size of my torso, and thats a very very good trait in a torta! But when I bit into the bread, I found it to be extremely fres, flavorful, bakery-quality bread that stole the show from any other part of the torta. So I found my new torta place in Fort Lauderdale!
