“Tonight we went with friends to Di Valle’s Italian Cucina on US1 just north of Oakland Park Blvd. in the Roselli Building…. (Honestly never even knew there was a restaurant in there, except for that Cafe DuMond which has been shut down for a long time, due to no real signage since its an office building). I never do restaurant reviews, however, this gem deserves more than 5 stars hands down!! Our server Pauline, one of the best servers we have had the pleasure of experiencing in years!!! The quality and variety of food the Chef creates, along with the nightly specials, are off the charts AMAZING!!! That paired with Pauline’s passion for her love and thorough knowledge of their chefs food, shines through in all aspects of our night’s experience. I HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem! I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!!! ❤️”

“From the seasonings to the garnishing, I have never known a health food restaurant that is as meticulously health conscious as this one. Secondly, their food is amazing. You can taste the Jamaican and Indian in everything that they make. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is on a serious alkaline health journey. It's a small business, so please know that they serve hot foods on Fridays and I think on Saturdays, and pre-prepped foods on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Also, if you plan on visiting on a Saturday, the place closes at 3pm so get there early. Follow their instagram to find out ahead of time what's on the menu because each day is different. “Amazing breakfast experience”

“We decided to try a former restaurant we would have dinner at with its new owners. They did an excellent job in redecorating the establishment. Much more upscale than before and having to get a cocktail was a real plus. We were greeted with smiling faces and chose where we could be seated. We enjoyed a ceasar salad that we split then we each had a pasta dish. I had the pasta with mushrooms and hubby had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were very good. The only complaint we had was there was not a large enough selection on entrees. About 5-6 pastas and 4-5 protein entrees. The rest was pizza. For a very nice looking restaurant I would prefer more choices in both of those categories. Other than that it was a very good meal.”

“This place has the best açaí bowls I’ve ever tasted. They’re so good you can eat it literally without anything. The fruits be sour sometimes though and I can’t take sour, but other than that this place is top tier no complaints.

Wheelchair accessibility: The place is kind of small so it might be hard to maneuver through in a wheel chair especially on busy days.”

“Last night was my first time eating from here. I followed on Instagram for awhile but never got around to buy until I seen they were down the street from me. I must say, my family was impressed! My husband enjoyed his food and so did my kids. The next day I'm still trying to eat what I had left. I will definitely be back and I totally recommend this spot. It's black owned which makes it even better! Thank you to the ladies at the front with their wonderful customer service skills.”

“This place is center at a great location. I've went there several times for many occasions. The Food is delicious! From the rice to the other serving sauce, the drinks are home-made, you get that real taste not that artificial, unhealthy stuff. You get a good amount of food for the price. Service staff are great. They welcome me with a smile each time I visit but don't expect a discount on anything. The atmosphere is pleasant l. As you eat, you will hear some great Kompa music that will get you dancing. Overall, this place is a great restaurant to visit and deserve my review.

Parking: Alot of parking space. Be careful though when cross street if park across the restaurant

“If you're looking for an amazing cup of coffee, this is a MUST try! We ordered a Traditional Macchiato, a Double Shot of Espresso, and a Cold Brew. The espresso had a wonderfully bold taste, and was not bitter or sour in any way. The cold brew was very smooth. No need for any cream or sugar in this cafe because they know how to make an exquisite cup of black coffee. We also ordered the Oakland Green smoothie, the smoothie is the perfect blend of all ingredients!”

“We were a group of 10 people and walked into Perry's Wings 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening. The awesome staff at Perry's went over and above and served us some sumptuous wings, oxtail & jollof rice. Mandy the executive Chef & owner went the extra mile and was present and engaged with the customers until closing. I recommend Perry's Wings as a perfect brunch, lunch or dinner restaurant. They have good food and beverages and awesome customer service.”

“We're repeat customers at this local business. They have awesome Italian ice and other treats. The workers are friendly and helpful with suggestions. They have rotating flavors as well as permanent offerings. Our favorite is vanilla chip. Their rotating banana is also fantastic! Either walk up or drive up to this cute little shop for a cold treat. Conveniently located right next to a Publix grocery though there is 1 parking spot available next to the building. Must stop by for amazing Italian ice and good prices.”

Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..”

“We were here for an event and we ended up returning the next day because the food was just that good. The Salmon is to die for….My husband fell in love with the smothered chicken and pork chops…also the regular and Red Velvet cornbread! The Pink Lemonade….OMG, SO GOOD!! Now….a little constructive criticism…is the side dishes are a little pricey for the portion. I ordered a side of rice and got a small cup (not even a healthy portion) for $5…the price is ok as long as it’s….WORTH IT! Also, I ordered a turkey wing dinner to go and there was only 1 turkey wing, turkey wings are not expensive and dinners in mostly all soul food restaurants include 2 meats. My husband had smothered chicken and pork chop and both meals had 2 pieces of both. One other thing, both days we ordered something with the expectation of getting it only to receive disappointing news that….You didn’t have it! When you are out of something let your waitress’ know this, so when customers place the order they can communicate that. Other than that….The food is AMAZING! The customer service was even more Amazing the young lady that waited on us both days was so sweet! When we are in town again we will be returning…..hopefully to some healthier portions for the prices…..(sides) both dine in and take out, a Full menu! Oh and one more thing….I absolutely Loved the old school music vibe…..Yessss!”

The food I had was incredible, not sure what she had. But all I know is, if I was them, I wouldn't have maintained my composure for nearly as long. It was my first time here, and definitely seemed like a stray crazy person on Christmas evening. Pricing is fair and low, ambiance is very family oriented, like a strong community.
