Best for takeout, but with a couple tables, enjoy the casual, lively cozy atmosphere with genuine family servers and cooks. The mom pours her heart into the food - you can taste the love! The al pastor and carnita tacos are bon appetite - I’m a petite size and I finished three whole tacos full of meat (they do not skimp!), rice, and delicious refried beans. The tortillas are crisp and soft. Just look at the photo!!!Come back again and again. They will not disappoint. Any other taco place is inferior. Get the HOT out of the oven churros! Thank you, will be missing these tacos from NJ!“

“Hidden Gem for Tacos, Karaoke, and Good Vibes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I kept seeing ads for $20 all you can eat tacos 🌮 at this spot on Oakland Park Boulevard, plus Friday night karaoke 🎤, so I finally decided to check it out. None of my friends could make it, so I came solo and honestly I’m really glad I did 😊. I didn’t even read the reviews beforehand, which I should have because they would’ve made my decision even easier. This place is super cute ✨ and has so much potential. I was there from about 7 PM to 10PM and it wasn’t very busy, which surprised me because the food was delicious 🤤. I sat right by the kitchen and couldn’t stop watching all the great looking dishes coming out 🍽️. I did the all you can eat tacos 🌮 and loved every bite. I tried the beef, chicken, and vegetarian tacos. The vegetarian comes with guacamole 🥑, so I mixed and matched a bit to make sure every taco had some guac. No regrets 😄. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive 💛, constantly refilling my water. The DJ was excellent 🎶, playing a fun mix of 90s hits and Spanish music, and when no one was singing karaoke, the music kept the vibe going. He also did a great job encouraging people to get up and sing 🎤. Another thing I loved was the big screen TVs everywhere 📺, so you can see the game no matter where you’re sitting. While I was there, the Miami Heat were absolutely dominating the Detroit Pistons 😂, which made it even more fun. I asked why it wasn’t busier, and they mentioned that Tuesdays are currently their best night. Honestly, I think this place is seriously underrated ⭐ and deserves way more attention than it’s getting. Even though I came by myself, it was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the AC ❄️, eat unlimited tacos 🌮, and listen to karaoke 🎶. I’m really glad I decided to come out, and I’ll definitely be back 🙌.“

“I remember a few years ago when the new owner took it over and you could tell they really want to provide the best food and service.
The lower end items, tacos and quesadilla are ok... (I am from LA. So I know Mexican food).
So don't let that stop you from going there. They excel at the main dishes! I had the TAMPIQUENA - a grilled steak dish and it was like Wow!! So be adventurous and try a new main dish.“

All shrimp…. Did not even taste like Ceviche. Was sooo disappointed. I wish they would have told us before we ordered or I would have gotten something else instead. Let your customers know if the menu changes. I walked through high winds and rain to come back to this restaurant before flying back home.“

“Our new favorite place Can't believe we have been sleeping on this place since it's literally down the street from my house. Punkys Tacos is an absolute vibe and the food is fire. 🔥 We are already planning what we are getting next time Our server Julie was great with suggestions of favorites especially since it was our first time. Queso dip and Chips - the addition of chorizo was a nice twist that jazzed this classic up Cheetodilla - I cant even put into words this quesadilla with a hot cheeto twist. My daughter ❤️ loved it Fish tacos - perfectly crunchy Mahi with Pink corn shells .. Pink !!!!! The atmosphere of the place was enjoyable with music 🎶 and table settings that gave it a homey feel. Juan our waiter zipped around from table to table and again even though he forgot some stuff he kept calm and always served with a smile. And to my surprise the staff spoke English. so as a non-spanish speaker that was also very welcoming. I went for the first time during the World Cup Brazil was playing on the large TVs there. The place was packed with a lot of a Brazil supporters and there was a great energy within the space. Unfortunately I was picking up my food to go but I will be back.“
