Worth trying this place as they have good options for Mexican and El Salvadorian food. The Mole Enchiladas are delicious. If you like cheese then I would highly recommend the cheese Empanadas and queso with chips.

Always great food and easy going friendly service. The pupusas and other Salvadorian dishes are always delish, my favorite being the cheese and bean pupusa and the chicken taquitos.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian section has options of main dishes with cheese and veggies instead of the meat protein.

Our 1st visit, El Guanaco was recommended…truly a hidden gem, warm ambiance, outdoor patio cozy, friendly and attentive service., even tho very busy.We were looking for a new authentic Mexican restaurant…we’ve tried so many-bingo! Margaritas best ever, my partner had the tongue tacos, unusual for a menu item-delicious! I ordered tamales - which are nearly impossible to find-yumm! I also had a chorizo tostada, so tasty! Yaaay we’ve found our new favorite local?????!

The micheladas are good, the only problem they have is that they are served in soup glasses, they are very big and you have to hold them with both hands apart from the fact that the lid on top has nowhere to put the straw or whatever you want to call it... .

What a great gem! Food was delicious, and the prices were extremely reasonable. We went for brunch and got the breakfast tacos, the breakfast pupusa, and guac with chips.

All lunch specials are $10 includes soda. First round chips and salsa free. I had chicken burrito with refried beans and rice. Only $10 and I couldn't eat it all!

Been going to El Guanaco for 7 years or so now. I'm not local by any means. I live over 1,500 miles away, but it is a must while visiting SE FL on business or vacation. Such a gem! Absolutely love the staff and atmosphere. Casual, but also delicious. I am welcomed with open arms upon walking on the door. Feels like family. Never had a bad meal or experience. I'm in the food industry and consider myself a foodie...and this place delivers delicious!
