I ordered the stew turkey and when the lady brought it out she showed it to me before bagging it and I just knew I was not going to like it. There was no tomato paste in the in meat/sauce it looked gray-ish. Rice did not look appealing either. I did not want to go off looks so decided to give it a try. The meat tasted like it’s gone bad! No exaggeration it was nasty and bland at the same time. Not edible!! A waste of 23$ cause I literally cannot eat it. Only thing good was the fried plantains. I hate to leave a bad review cause front desk staff was nice but I must make them aware of this to improve.

This place is near my office and I come here at least twice a week. The food is incredible and made with great care. My favorites are the Haitian spaghetti, goat in stew, griot, rice djon djon and many more. Everything on the menu is great and the place is clean.

Horrible I just bought food from here Last week and my two kids and I are still sick with food poisoning the food was nasty I mean everything was nasty to the taste except the rice but we all still ended up with food poisoning we all had to go to the hospital I been trying to find where this restaurant was on Google to give my review and I really don't appreciate that yal have to do better we still going through it real bad throwing up and using the bathroom like crazy I feel so bad that a 2 and 8 year old should be throwing up and pooping at the same time crying I feel so bad for them 😮‍💨😔

Food is fresh cooked to order. Every time I go there it’s someone different at the front and they have the BEST attitude. I love this place tbh. Everyone is always smiling and laughing with me I love that!!!!!

I called this resturaunt at 9:25PM yesterday and asked what time they close. They said they close at 10 PM and I said i was on my way but I was going to call back at 9:35 once I got my family’s order together which was going to be over $200. I called back 3 times at 9:35 and they didn’t answer. I proceed to drive to Le Chic and I arrived at 9:47. They refused to take my order because the person in the back no longer wanted to cook. They wouldn’t serve me or another patron.

I asked to speak to the owner because your employees were turning down orders and they stated he wasn’t in.

It was my first time at the establishment and I will never return.

Best Haitian restaurant in town, authentic the food is really delicious, customer service is superb and they even take special requests.

I called here for the first time and asked do they carry spinach and she said, “ I don’t speak English” so I assume they don’t serve Americans here being that they’re right here in Oakland. Smh
