Had a blast with the family at this restaurant. Colombian authentic food that feels just like home and what about the empanadas that were seriously delicious. Great music and great service by the cook Mateo who did everything by himself while also having a conversation with us. Also the place closes at 10 so it is definetly your go to spot for a late quick bite.

Was expecting way more!- Service and atmosphere: small place with options for kunch and dinner to smaller portions to try out. The place is nice for a casual meal, and the service is attentive.-Food: I love pork belly, and it is my go-to dish when in a colombian restaurant. Sadly, this one wasn't crunchy or as flavorful as it should be. The portion is also very small. My friend ordered an arepa, and it was amazing.I also ordered an arepa de choclo, which is a sweet arepa with cheese. It tasted like it was not fresh and very dry. It's definitely a place to try out arepas and no more (at least from my experience)Prices are okay, way cheaper, and more yummy colombian options. There is free parking around

I have had better arepas around with more content. They were out of chicken and beef empanadas. Yuca bites had little to none beef. Good selection of Colombian beers though.

I got the bandeja paisa from here thru Uber eats. In my opinion not good value for money. The rice was hard, the egg was overcooked, the chicharon was stale. Very disappointing.

As soon as I found out that Paisa Bites was serving Columbian "perritos calientes," meaning hot dogs, I rushed right over. The wonderful tastes and flavors of those hot dogs I had in Bogotá with their delicious pink sauce and crushed potato string fries still lingered in my memory. Being the hot dog aficionado I am, I had visions of a culinary hot dog delight, and I wasn't dissappointed. Paisa has an odd correr location on Dixie Highway and some, but very little parking on NE 35th Street. It's housed in what appears to be a rather new structure. Paisa Bites is spotlessly clean with a simple but comfortable modern minimalist décor. Upon entry, I received a warm greeting from one of their most polite staff. The menu is most complete and obviously geared to Columbian "fast foods." It even includes such goodies as a Bowl Bandeja Medellin comprised of arroz, frijol, carne, chorizo, chicharrón, madurito, guacamole, arepita, hogao/ rice, beans, steak, pork sausage, pork skin, sweet plantain, guacamole, arepita, hogao. But it was Columbian hot dogs I came for and: WOW! Did I find them, and not just one style of them but three. There is their Clasico, their Perra, and their Paisa.I had their Paisa comprised of: SALCHICHA, QUESO, TOCINETA, ENSALADA DE REPOLLO, RIPIO DE PAPA, Y HUEVO DE CODORNIZ SAUSAGE, CHEESE, BACON, COLESLAW, CRUSHED POTATO, AND QUAIL EGG. It was more than a mouthful of deliciousness. In fact, I had to cut mine in half in order to hold it and keep it together. If you are a fan of Columbian hot dogs, or have never tried them, Paisa is the place for you.

Finally a good Colombian restaurant in the area!! The Colombian hot dogs were fantastic and took me back to my childhood! Very authentic. The tequeños were really good too. The food took a minute to be ready but it’s worth the wait. I would recommend adding a jugo de mora as well since it’s so refreshing. Loved it! The arepa was very well made too! With all the right toppings and sauces.

After watching a food tv show, I had a hot dog craving. We found this place on Yelp and it sounded intriguing. It's a Colombian restaurant facing Dixie highway. There's not much parking but a few spots across the street say "public parking" near the brewery. We each got a hot dog (perro). They come with several sauces -- ketchup, mayo, pink sauce, garlic sauce and a pineapple sauce. My "classic" hot dog had coleslaw and crushed potato chips in it. I had it without the pineapple sauce. It was good -- but messy! Had to use a knife and fork. My husband got their signature hot dog -- it had a quail egg on top! Also bacon and cheese with the coleslaw and crushed potato chips. He also said it was good, but messy, too. Service was pleasant -- very good. We sat inside and the same gal who waited on us also did the cooking. They have a bigger menu than just hot dogs. The arepas looked intriguing. I'm glad we came. Now we know.

The service and food are good. Our server also prepared our food. I ordered the Signature Paisa hot dog has Sausage, cheese, bacon, cole slaw, crushed potatoes and a quail egg, topped with pineapple sauce, ketchup and mayonnaise. A meal in itself!

Hands up to the chef, best arepas I ever had. I have been in Colombia and even there is hard to find arepas as good as this. Thank you guys.

Don’t get the Arepa here! Picked it apart. The flavor was not good. It’s very heavy and takes a really long time to come out. Extremely soggy. They say it comes with guacamole but the guacamole is the green you see there, very runny. Would not recommend. Go somewhere else for a good Arepa!

Finally good empanada’s in the area! I ordered the arepa mixta and it was huge and delicious! We’ll be back! Hoping in the future they make breakfast :)

Lunch break so I decided to try because the pictures and reviews seemed good. I was disappointed because the food was mediocre. Simple french fries were so hard that my jaw hurt and for "Salchipapa", there was barely any hot dog. I also saw the front person who touched the monitor screen, my debit card and everything else grab 2 small hotdogs from the fridge and put them on the grill. I was shocked that she just did it in front of me without washing her hands or wearing gloves. They were not very friendly, so I didn't say anything. The dessert was a bit too pricey for the little cup it was in and not good, super over sweet. Waste of 15$ on hard fries. I don't know if I would go back, the touching of the food without washing or gloves did it for me and the unfriendliness of the girl at the front made it uncomfortable and I was the only customer they had to take care of. Go to LaGranja for salchipapas....
