So sorry but don’t waste you’re time or money. I’ve eaten Peruvian food for all my life and I can’t even believe they call this Peruvian. I’ve come to terms that Fort Lauderdale knows nothing about Peruvian food. This is our the 3rd restaurant we’ve tried and such a let down.Parihuela is one of my favorite Peruvian soups and they had the audacity to put frozen peas and carrots in it. This is literally some north western foolishness. Then I requested picante and it was literally something pull out of a bottle. My husband’s dish literally had no flavor. We both looked at each other and said “where is the flavor”.Can’t even believe we spent over $80 for disappointment. We did tip the staff because it’s not their fault. But… we had to wait over an hour for our food. So there’s that …Anyways… I guess I’ll stick to my regular places out west for Peruvian food.

Great food, great atmosphere. I love the decor. Incredibly excellent Customer Service. The ceviche was very fresh and delicious. And the fried rice was fantastic. And a passionfruit drink was delightful. I highly recommend this place. Would love to eat here again.

We travel to Florida every year and make a point of going to this restaurant. We’ve recommended it to so many people. It was our favourite place but we won’t be going back. We (2 adults, 2 kids) went on March 31 and got serious food poisoning. I emailed the restaurant 3 times and they never replied. Very disappointing.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salimar Ceviche Bar, and it was an experience to remember! I ordered the Lomito A Lo Pobre, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, transporting me straight to Peru with every bite. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor is charming and beautifully done, creating the perfect backdrop for a delightful meal. If you're in Ft. Lauderdale and craving delicious Peruvian cuisine, look no further than Salimar Ceviche Bar. Highly recommended!

Love, love, love this place! Excellent owners and wait staff. The food is amazing! Huge selection of dishes. Excellent sangria and many other drink options. Their deserts are super fresh and to die for, especially the chocolate cake and passion fruit cheesecake! We are so lucky to have this place close to us. We’ve had a few birthdays here with a lot of people, and every single person loved it. Looking forward to our next time!
