I had a retirement party reservation set for Friday night for a mentor of mine. As we arrived, we were told that no reservation was on the books.... immediately. Chris (the owner) informed me that the gentleman that handled my reservation was no longer with them and assured me that he would personally make sure that we had a special evening. he and his staff took over and put together a night to remember. Dining at 18 South was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening. The food was exceptional; The service was attentive and friendly, with our server making excellent recommendations. 18 South is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal.
The Marilyn Monroe cocktail is a dream with perfectly balanced botanical notes. The poached pear and blue cheese salad is actually perfect. It is sweet, savory, and absolutely addictive. I love trying new dishes every time, but these have truly become my favorites. For a special night out, nothing in Ocala compares. If you're in the mood for a laid-back vibe head downstairs for a next-level sports bar atmosphere a round of simulator golf and a delicious nightcap.

The food is spectacular, fabulous, and absolutely epic, with flavors among the very best. Dishes are plated nicely and taste rich, fresh, and outstanding. Specific praised items include the elk, the filet mignon, the Chilean sea bass, the lobster roll, and the loaded mash. The filet is noted for being butter-basted, moist, and incredibly flavorful. The service is five-star, great, and 11/10, with staff paying close attention to timing and details without pretentiousness. The owner and team ensure a special evening and a night to remember, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The bar is also beautiful and well-stocked for drinks. It is now a go-to restaurant in Ocala.
