“I'm typically very skeptical about trying food from a gas station but this place came recommended by a friend and it was worth it! The dukbokki had a wonderful complexity and depth of flavor. It was a large serving with a side of rice. The kimchi was also really good. There are a few tables and chairs in the convenience store if you want to eat there. The gas station convenience store mostly has Asian food options and ingredients. The whole place is run by a family so it's a great option to support local businesses as well.

Parking: This is a small strip mall gas station so there is free parking.”

“We were in town at FAST for a swim meet. I always try to locate a good restaurant to eat at in places we don't frequent often. We came to Milano for lunch and it was fantastic. I had the chicken penne Alla Vodka and it was some of the best I've eaten. The service was fast friendly and efficient. Great place, will come again if we are in the area.”

“The best we have ever had!!!! The gelato is equivalent or better than any gelato we have had in Italy, Switzerland, or Germany. We would share our favorite flavor, but that changes every time we go, as the owner only uses the freshest seasonal ingredients. Let's just say we can't find a flavor we don't like. Today a shout out for the grapefruit, amaretto, biscotti, cannoli, coffee, and chocolate gelato. My husband is the biggest coffee snob I know. He spends hours weekly ordering the best beans, roasting them, and pulling shots of espresso. It is rare that we go out for coffee and we can say the coffee is good. This owner knows how to pull a good shot of espresso!”

“My wife and I just went there for Valentines Day 2023, this being our second time. Ordered two Chardonnays, very good wine, I need the name :). I had Mussels in Fra Diavalo sauce that was excellent. Kim had Alfredo with chicken which she said was very good. We both had salads as sides, mine with one of the best Blue Cheese dressings I have ever had in a restaurant! My wife had Ranch and said it was delicious. We topped off the evening by splitting a Tiramisu that was wonderful! Most certainly going back again!!”

“I am literally blown away ! The food great and the staff are sweet as can be! I picked up an order tonight and noticed how nice the cups are for the Boba tea. (the tea was awesome too haha! ) As I was turning into my neighborhood, the bag with the Ramen tipped over :(. It was completely my fault, but at the time, I didn't know the some broth leaked out because the bag was so thick. That's a good thing bc I don't want broth all over the inside of the car! When I got inside the house and took the bowls out of the bag, I noticed how nice they were. they are designed at the bottom so that you don't burn your hand when you reheat the Ramen. they are thick black bowls with a lid and a separate tray for the noodles and whatever other fixings you order that sit on top. I love the fact that everything they have done is wonderfully designed, and again, this is literally one of the best places I have had Ramen. Not many places care enough about the customer to even worry about take out containers, presentation and have great food. I can't express how appreciative I am. I will ? be returning.”

“Pretty solid choice. Grandkids love it. Servers are always nice and attentive. Those breadsticks are amazing, as are all of the dishes I've tried. The desserts are pricey, kids love the chocolate mouse cake after lunch, but 10$ a slice is a little nutty. Luckily, so am I, so I always order.

We decided to try this Waffle House went inside and sat at a table for at least 10 minutes and no waitress even acknowledged us. There were no other patrons seated at the time. Needless to say we got up and left. Really a shame! There were at least 5 people behind the counter too.”

My first experience was amazing! I had the incorrect closing time and although at closing the staff welcomed me in. I was able to order my food and received extra portions. Great first visit led to my second visit. Tropical Delight is worth the visit for both the food and ambiance! Looking forward to my third and subsequent visits. I plan to be a regular!”

Chips and salsa now have be purchased instead of being a better part of the experience. The burrito I ordered was tasty, but not the quality I remember. Rather, it was small. Beans and the rice were edible but not outstanding. Even the hot sauce parlayed with the meal was meh. The dining area is small and narrow, and there is no room for groups.”

“My wife and I are practically regulars at Depot on Magnolia. We've been there twice, and let me tell you, both times were like flavor explosions in our mouths. But this last experience? Forget fireworks, it was a five-course symphony of customer service! One night, my wife and I were on a nostalgia trip, reminiscing about this crazy dish we had years ago. It's called cheeseburger soup. Now, picture this: a hearty broth swirling with juicy ground beef, happy little vegetables, and enough melty cheese to make a cheesesteak jealous. It's a rare gem, this soup, only whispered about in hushed tones by a select few who've been lucky enough to experience it. But for those who have, let me tell you, it's like a warm hug for your taste buds. The problem? Most restaurants wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot spatula. Why? Because making cheeseburger soup right takes time, love, and the patience of a saint. There's no room for shortcuts here, folks. This soup is a labor of love, or at least it should be. So, on a quest to find this culinary unicorn, I started calling restaurants in Ocala. But no dice. No one had cheeseburger soup, most had never even heard of it. Some places even chuckled, like I was asking for deep-fried moon rocks. "We stick to our menu," they'd say, with all the enthusiasm of a wet sock. Feeling like a defeated knight on a cheeseburger soup crusade, I figured that was that. Then, a beacon of hope! I called Depot on Magnolia and got connected with a fantastic woman named Shayla. I poured my heart out about my cheeseburger soup obsession, explaining this mythical dish in all its cheesy glory. It's basically Americana in a bowl, I tell you! But finding a restaurant that could do it justice seemed impossible. Shayla, bless her heart, listened with genuine interest, even though they didn't have it on the menu. She then dropped this bombshell: their chef loves a good challenge (what a legend!), and she'd be happy to run it by him. Now, I'll admit, I was skeptical. Promises get lost easier than socks in a dryer, right? Well, color me surprised! I got a voicemail on July 23rd that had me grinning wider than a Cheshire cat who just found a cheese factory. Not only was the chef making my soup, but they were putting it on the menu for everyone to try starting July 25th! Now, I haven't tasted it yet, but customer service this good deserves a standing ovation (and maybe a food review or two). Shayla, wherever you are at Depot on Magnolia, you're a legend! You listened to my cheeseburger soup saga with the rapt attention of a kid hearing about buried treasure. Here's to hoping the chef's creation is as magical as my quest to find it. I'll be there on July 25th, ready to sing your praises (and maybe challenge you to a cheeseburger soup showdown, though let's be real, you'll probably crush me). See you then!”

“I grew up in Miami Alapada. I have been eating here since I moved to Ocala 20 years ago. Definitely the closest you are going to get to what I would consider home. In nort central Fl.
The owner is awesome. But sometimes you get some young new blood as the cashier that's less then friendly. But hey that's life. Overall great food, good environment. Been going there for 18 of the 20 years I've been here. It's for good reason . Most small restaurants open and close. This one has withstood the test of time.”

I asked to be transferred to the store and then I got a dial tone. Either the person I was talking to didn't know how to transfer the call, or he hung up. I called again and was able to get through to the store. My order had not been received. I spoke with Sherry, 026523. She apologized for the other employee, made me feel I was a valued customer, and gave me the Melt at no charge.”

“The best we have ever had!!!! The gelato is equivalent or better than any gelato we have had in Italy, Switzerland, or Germany. We would share our favorite flavor, but that changes every time we go, as the owner only uses the freshest seasonal ingredients. Let's just say we can't find a flavor we don't like. Today a shout out for the grapefruit, amaretto, biscotti, cannoli, coffee, and chocolate gelato. My husband is the biggest coffee snob I know. He spends hours weekly ordering the best beans, roasting them, and pulling shots of espresso. It is rare that we go out for coffee and we can say the coffee is good. This owner knows how to pull a good shot of espresso!”

“This place is amazing! I am an Vegan an although it promotes hotdogs and barbecue; it also has something for everything. i had the corn nuggets and this huge hot pretzel with hot beer cheese dip. Yummy. the staff is sooooo friendly and Rahamel is THE ONE to look for. He is the gem. they got pool tables, axe throwing, a jute box and sport tv's everywhere.... oh yea, and out door seating. Go by and see Rahmel at the crave.”

“Pretty solid choice. Grandkids love it. Servers are always nice and attentive. Those breadsticks are amazing, as are all of the dishes I've tried. The desserts are pricey, kids love the chocolate mouse cake after lunch, but 10$ a slice is a little nutty. Luckily, so am I, so I always order.

“We were in town at FAST for a swim meet. I always try to locate a good restaurant to eat at in places we don't frequent often. We came to Milano for lunch and it was fantastic. I had the chicken penne Alla Vodka and it was some of the best I've eaten. The service was fast friendly and efficient. Great place, will come again if we are in the area.”
