“So I had poor timing, the owner or chef had an unfortunate situation where someone took the wrong order causing the service to be slow as the chef worked to keep up with the 6 large orders of different people while making up the order that was given to the wrong customer. The chef repeatedly communicated his apologies. Service took way too long but I understood what happened and it was unfortunate. The food was great, menu needs a little work and was hard to understand what I was ordering as far as quantities. For example tacos do not say each, they do however have a picture of two. At the price of $3 and change I would also guesstimate two. I requested 3 orders of the Carne asada expecting a minimum of 6. Got 3. Just needs work. Chef did extend an invitation to try them again any other night and he would make up for the long service. I may take them up on this offer.Tostones were great, quesadillas great and a good size. All o can speak on at the moment.Parking: Open lot half gravel half grass.Wheelchair accessibility: Off road wheel chairs recommended but it's do able.“
“I absolutely love Pepe's and had been patronizing them for approximately 10yrs. The food is always consistently delicious, and service is always great, hence the reason for 5 stars overall. BUT...On 3/15/24 around 7pm there was a waitress there that was blatantly rude to me. I'm going to spare details. But I will say she is fairly new there and was wearing black rubber gloves.To Pepes management.... get hey out of your restaurant, she's not pleasant!!“
“Perfect little place. I stopped in after a bridal appointment and it was the perfect place to unwind and get lunch. Food is great. The portions are HUGE and the food is delicious. Also? An incredible price. Especially since you're getting two meals out of it!“
“Today we went to eat at this place to try lechón and it was the least we tried, when we arrived it seemed like it was closed and it was 6, but we were surprised by the food and the service, the most I liked was the mofongo, the blood sausage and the Menudo We Puerto Ricans call it tripe, the alcapurrias in general I recommend it and we will go again“
“Great food. Rarely can actually go there because we come all the way from Gainesville and usually are in Ocala on the weekends. Finally made it over on a Tuesday and they were on vacation. Sigh, don't begrudge them a vacation, but maybe open on Saturdays? Just for lunch maybe?“
