“I came to visit my grandparents that live close by and they recommended this place to have lunch. The portions were so large that we got full and ate the leftovers for dinner. “Hubby and I came to try Gallos Pollos on a Tuesday and it was SO good! We brought 2 more family members 2 days later and came back again today! This place is AHHHMaaaazzzzing!!! The food is delicious and so full of flavor! The steak, chicken, and carnitas are tender and juicy! The cornbread is moist and so good! The icing on the cake…is the staff!! Aaron to Joey to Anthony…they are so welcoming and very friendly! We will be back again…and again…and again!!!“

First time at the new location and let me just say you guys made a great decision by moving here. Bigger and more space to move around, I love it. If I could give you guys 10 stars across the board I would. The food and drinks were immaculate. Everything was so perfectly seasoned. I tried the calamari and it was great, perfectly breaded and not oily at all. The natural juices are so delicious. My bestie had the soursop and I had the passion fruit, my favorite 😍. Service was exceptional, honestly I have no complaints about anything at all. Atmosphere... great!! Food...10 outta 10!! Service...perfect, even the bathroom was so clean 👌🏽. Before I end I would also like to mention that the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes served. You are definitely getting your money's worth!!! Every chance I get i will be dining here ☺“

The food here is always consistently good, and the chimis never disappoint. On our recent visit, the service was decent overall. We weren't greeted right away and waited a few minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once our server came over, she was friendly and attentive, though service slowed down a bit toward the end of our meal. Overall, still a great spot for solid Dominican food, and I'd definitely come back!“

“Everything is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this place. I got some soup for an old Jamaican lady in the nursing home and she loved it. The lady allowed me to do broth only for her which was so sweet. I was welcomed and she communicated to me letting me know she's wrapping up with another guest. Everything clean and fresh. As a Jamaican new Yorker I cant wait to come back.“

“I just had my first experience with Unico tonight and I truly enjoyed myself! It was R&B night and the DJ was phenomenal! He started playing the saxophone with the songs and I was truly impressed! “Food was good and servers were polite. Went there on a rain delay from baseball game so we were a party of 10. It would not be a place to go if in a hurry but the Mahi tacos looked amazing, all the dishes looked great but those tacos had me jealous wishing I ordered that!“
