23 Best Chinese Restaurants in Ocala

“Awesome“

“Always great food, large portions, and reasonably priced. I’ve never received anything but amazing service. This is the only place I will order Chinese food from in Ocala.“

“Wow. what a score. This spot is nice and clean. the staff are very friendly and the food is another level. Must try.“

“Great great food one of my new favorite places and very reasonably priced!!!“

“Best place, I always order my Chinese food there they're actually acceptable to custom orders if there's too much fat I ask for less fat, and not mushrooms they don't put it. The food is amazing, the Crab rangoons are like a flower not a little folded football“

“It is a take out restaurant so for the most part they’re not going to get a great score for atmosphere. I found the meal to be above average and the service to be exceptional, especially the two friendly ladies upfront, which were the only two employees I had an interaction with. Well done I will be a regular as I moved to Ocala 6 months ago.“

“A great Chinese~~~~“

“Great food, I was very impressed by the amount of wontons in our soup. I'm used to receiving soup that's full of broth, but we definitely got our money's worth. They could definitely clean up the place and get new tables, though.“

“I recently moved to Citra, so naturally, I had to find the nearest Chinese takeout spot—because who doesn’t love Chinese food? 😂

I ordered the Szechuan beef with lo mein and wonton soup, and I was not disappointed! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The portions were satisfying, and overall, it was a great takeout meal.

If you’re driving through the area, definitely stop by and give them a try. I’m glad I found a new Chinese spot nearby! 🥡🥢“

“When I tell you. As a transplant from up north one of my biggest gripes was not finding good Chinese food here in Ocala. It took me 3 years to find Wok N Stuff but I am so glad I did. Food is piping hot, Rangoons are extra crispy with perfect filling. Their entree dishes are real meat and not just scraps in a bunch of breading soaked in sauce. What a lovely little gem tucked away off the main strip in Ocala ❤️“

“We have ordered from Shang Hai on multiple occasions now. Although not perfect and personal preferences will differ. We found them to be one of the better if not the best Chinese take out restaurants we’ve tried in the area.
The food portions are decent. The food is very good. The prices are decent. I cannot think of much more that I need. Shang Hai’s food so far has fit the bill for us. So I recommend trying them.
I rarely give five stars unless the subject is outstanding and above others in their field. So although I thought about it. I gave Shang Hai four stars, because they are very good. But not quite perfect to the point of head and shoulders above the rest. But you can consider it 4.5 stars. And I figure that’s quite good.“

“We recently visited this restaurant while my husband and I were in Ocala, and we’re so glad we decided to stop in.
The food was fresh, tasty, and came out quickly, which we really appreciated. Everything we ordered had great flavor and felt well prepared.
The young man at the counter was especially polite and accommodating—he even helped us adjust one of our meals without any issue, which made the experience even better. The rest of the staff we interacted with were also pleasant and welcoming.
Overall, it was a great experience with good food and excellent service. We would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a solid Chinese spot in Ocala.“

“I haven’t had Chinese food this good in soooooo long omg 10/10. I called like 10 min before closing and the guy was very nice to still make my order. I bought sesame chicken and rice with egg roll combo for my friend and for myself I got the general tso’s chicken combo. Everything was delicioussssss . Fresh and hot. The only thing that wasn’t so good was the crab Rangoon’s. I’ve definitely had better but but It’s okay the rest of the food makes up for it😆 I was kinda iffy because of the recent negative comments but yall trust me. This is SO GOOD.“

“Best house lomein and best human chicken I've had“

“*) Food was good, enjoyed it very much!
*) Girl at the counter was not the most pleasant person I have met, could be a little bit more friendly at least.
*) Place was clean with tables, not a lot of frills but was fine.
*) I will eat there again 😋“

“I've lived in 3 states of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in my life this place is the most friendliest of them all! The woman working there she may be the owner or the wife of the owner welcomes you as soon as you walk in no matter how many people are in the restaurant it's its a nice warm greeting that makes you feel appreciated! The food is excellent the service is even better!!“

“You have got to see their kitchen!!! It was super clean and well organized!! Check out my photo! Food was super fresh and tasty! We will be ordering from here from now on! Our new favorite! Quite possibly the best oriental food in town. Try Zhang Garden today!“

“The food is made fresh and to order. They offer the standard offerings of a Chinese restaurant, and the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly. It's less of a dine-in experience, and more of a take-out vibe as seating is very limited. I did not call in my order ahead of time, so there was a short wait (10-15 mins) for them to prepare my order—which was absolutely reasonable and definitely worth it.“

“Vegetarian options: Chow mein

“Kyle was fantastic! His customer service was top-tier—he answered all my questions about the new menu items, helped me find something new to try, and even checked on us at our table afterward. And the rest of the team were also incredibly friendly and funny, with multiple employees checking to make sure we enjoyed our food!

Great atmosphere, great people, and amazing food!“

“Of all the take out Chinese places in Ocala I find this one the best. Bourbon, Sesame, ot Gen. Tso their chicken is finger linking good. Atmosphere: it looks pretty much like a food place would look in China so I'm cool with it. Fancy places are for tourist. The real deal is always at a hole in the wall.“
