We have ordered from Shang Hai on multiple occasions now. Although not perfect and personal preferences will differ. We found them to be one of the better if not the best Chinese take out restaurants we’ve tried in the area.
The food portions are decent. The food is very good. The prices are decent. I cannot think of much more that I need. Shang Hai’s food so far has fit the bill for us. So I recommend trying them.

The food is delicious and it's in the style of New York. They always manage to meet my needs, and the service is great too. I will definitely come back.

Shang Hai offers amazing food with sweet employees. Despite a language barrier, they are respectful and helpful. The boneless spareribs may be dry with a strong pork flavor, but the steamed rice is decent. However, some customers find the service rude and stingy with condiments. The Wonton soup may taste like dishwater, egg rolls could be soggy, and the sesame chicken watery. If you prefer generous condiments and top-quality Chinese cuisine, you might want to explore other options.
