“It's okay. I prefer the Chinese place in Homosassa (New China restaurant. By far my favorite and I've been going there for 20 years with never a complaint.) But for the Inverness area it's ok. Food's just not as good in my opinion, very mainstream. But if you're looking for Chinese food, And you're in the area, it'll do good. I never had a problem with their service. Very nice. Atmosphere is your typical walk-in takeout Chinese place.“

“It's takeout only so I couldn't give a 5 star for atmosphere but everything else I did. Placing the order was easy, the lady was friendly and even made sure I had the correct address before hanging up. The wait was only a few minutes and for fresh food it was actually fast in my opinion. I ordered a sweet and sour chicken combo with white rice and an egg roll (I added an extra one when I arrived). Everything was fresh and hot. The egg rolls were fantastic! They filling was good and not skimpy. The chicken was amazing and you could tell the oil was fresh. The portions were good and everything tasted great. I always order a side of brown sauce for my white rice but didn't end up using it because the rice was perfect. I usually go to a Chinese place closer to my house but will now drive the extra way to First Taste“

“I got a to-go order and tried this place for the first time today. Got to say- I truly enjoyed it. I did the lunch special and got sweat and sour chicken with pork fried rice, hubs got garlic chicken with pork fried rice, and an order of crab Rangoons. I will say that the Rangoons were delicious but could use a teeny bit more filling. The lunch specials were awesome. Holy heck on the portion, and as I'm not a huge fan of rice- I got to say I quite enjoyed the rice as well and ate enough that my husband was surprised LOLOL they also gave us a lot of soup which was very nice of them. I'm surprised to see the 3.4 rating as I seriously had no complaints (even with the Rangoon filling being low, they tasted great and were super crunchy. I ate four in one sitting) two huge lunches would've been $20 if I had not added the Rangoons, so to me this is a deal!!“
