We had the best food at Four Smokes! First of all our server Aubrey was amazing and very sweet! We got the burnt ends, the back back ribs, and steak bites special. Let me tell y'all probably the best bbq I've had in a while. Go check them out!
The restaurant is beautiful, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with one aspect of my experience.
I am a bariatric patient and can only eat very small portions. I asked if I could order from the kids’ menu and was told no. I understand that restaurants have policies, but I feel there should be some flexibility for people with medical circumstances like mine. First time eating here, I ordered the half chicken lunch platter. The chicken was the best I ever had at a BBQ joint! Never had skin as crispy as this, it came out steaming hot, but juicy and tender. We also ordered pulled pork sandwiches, I said if they pile it as high on the bun as the picture, that will be a good sandwich.... oh, yeah, they did pile it on, and the sauces were fantastic! Four Smokes BBQ is a restaurant that has left a strong impression on its guests. Many describe the food as the best bbq they have had in a while. The burnt ends are big and very tender, the back back ribs and St Louis ribs are cooked to perfection, and the brisket is also very tender. The half chicken lunch platter has the best chicken at a BBQ joint, with skin as crispy as it gets, steaming hot, but juicy and tender. The pulled pork sandwiches are piled high on the bun, and the dry pork has an excellent smokey flavor. The steak bites special, sliders, pork plate, and tour of four are also mentioned, with everything seasoned great. The sides are delicious: the waffle fries can come with a jalapeño cheese and bacon option, the greens are very very good, the yams are drizzled in melted marshmallows, the Cowboy beans are savory with a hint of sweet, and the mac n chz is cheesy and flavorful. Several great sauce options are available. The atmosphere is beautiful and stellar, with 2 pianist on Friday night who did Mashups and added great personality. The service and staff are friendly, polite, accommodating, and on point. The restaurant has a full bar, and you could hang out for hours without having to order. It is a must and the best spot in town.
