“This is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in Ocala! The rolls are always fresh, delicious, and consistently amazing. No matter what I order, I’m never disappointed.
One of the things that keeps me coming back is the incredible staff. The waiters are always so friendly and welcoming, and they actually remember my order every time, which makes the experience feel so personal and special.
The atmosphere is wonderful—comfortable, relaxing, and perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Great food, great service, and great people. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent sushi in Ocala! 🍣❤“

“We went to Yamato with two friends on January 30 2026 to celebrate my Birthday. This has become an annual tradition for our small group. We travel to Ocala from Pennsylvania and stay here till May 1st. During our visit to Ocala we make it a point to dine at Yamato at least twice during our stay. We were taken care of by Marla and Janice for our Japanese experience. The service was perfect, and the dinner show was exciting.. Our food was prepared as we requested. Everything was tasty and the orders were very large and almost too much to eat. I just wanted to set the record straight concerning this restaurant. This place is a gem ! We can afford to eat wherever we chose. This place is worth a try.. Yamato exceeded my expectations.“

“Koto Sushi is excellent! Sushi was fresh and prepared perfectly. You can eat in comfortably or order take out. We highly recommend! Will make it a regular. Menu is vast and plenty to select from.“
