“We have become repeat customers and decided this is our new favorite sushi and ramen place! Service: the staff is always friendly and attentive, took out allergy concern very seriously and double checked everything with the chefs. Food: the quality is consistent, the ramen portions are generous, and I appreciate the sushi rolls all have distinct flavors. I personally love the takoyaki which have come out fresh and piping hot every time. Atmosphere: anime posters on the walls, very tidy table and chairs layout, lighting that isnt too bright or too dim. The bathrooms are also very clean.“

“I found this hidden gem last year and eat here at least twice a week since they opened. The food is the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the owners Bennie and his wife Fannie treat each customer with ta friendly and respectful atmosphere. Their attitude is also reflected by the staff. The prices are very reasonable and portions generous. A hidden gem!!!!!!!“

“We had never eaten at Volcanic Hunter’s Crossing before, but we needed sushi and Asian food for my son’s college graduation party, and close friends highly recommended them. The catering we ordered was fresh, ready on time, and the sushi was both beautiful and delicious. The customer service was amazing, and they helped make our party a hit with all the guests. Any time I’m in Gainesville, I’ll make a point to stop in and eat at Volcanic!“

“Bento has been a favorite of ours for 15+ years, but we had an incredible experience today at the newberry location. Erin is the absolute best, she did everything she could to make our visit. We have a lot of small children, and she was patient and helpful! The food was awesome, as always.“

“All of the food is incredibly flavorful, and they can adjust the spice level to exactly how you like it. The aroma of the dishes alone is wonderful and makes you excited to eat before the food even arrives.

My favorite dish is the spicy basil fried rice. It comes out hot and smells incredible. The rice is soft and coated in a rich, savory flavor. When you take a bite, it almost melts in your mouth and its absolutely addicting.

The curries are also extremely flavorful—honestly the best Thai food i've ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to try it for the first time.“
