“My family and I had an early dinner tonight and everything was excellent: from the scallion pancakes and tuna tataki as appetizers to the main dishes, boolgogi, bibimbap, pork belly and jeyeuk bokkeum and the banchan. Our server, Richard, was very attentive and knowledgeable, something you don’t see very often these days. All in all, it was a very good experience , as it has been numerous times before. I’m glad you survived Covid !“
“My perception of Asian cuisine has completely transformed! It is simply exquisite and delectable! I have never encountered such a delightful culinary experience before. Each dish is a masterpiece, not just in taste, but also in its presentation and aesthetic appeal.“
“My wife and I went here for Valentine's Day. It was extremely busy, and we sat at the bar. The service was great as busy as it was. Our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions on food choices. The fried oyster appetizer was great. The sushi was fresh and tasty.“
“This was my first visit, but definitely not the last! The food was excellent and came quickly. They had indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very attentive and the portions were generous. We especially enjoyed the jasmine tea, which was enough for two people.“
“Our server Ella was so sweet & amazing! She asked if we had been before & what brought us. We were picking up a cake from Sweet Paws for our dog’s first gotcha day & this was our first time in the area. We talked about dogs & she let us know that it was a dog friendly place & told us about the Farmer’s Market which I appreciated. She gave us menu recommendations that didn’t disappoint. The Crab Rangoon was delicious! We also got the lunch combos #2 & #5 - the beef teriyaki & all the sushi rolls were delicious. The outdoor seating area is adorable & it was so nice sitting out there. Even though she was the only server there at the time, she checked on us frequently, made sure we were good & kept our drinks full. Please give her some kind of recognition! We will definitely be back!“
“We stopped in for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. We started with an appetizer(bao bun sandwiches) which was quite tasty. Our main dishes were sizable, tasty and worth it! I can tell you we will be back and we are definitely trying the Phó(it looked delicious) on our next visit.“
“One of my favorites places in Gainesville! Great atmosphere and staff really make the visit relaxing and enjoyable. The food is so flavorful and delicious. Great portion sizes and quality. This is my go to spot when I’m looking for a great meal.“
“The quality is really good, not unbelievable, but there ambiance, location, and diversity of the menu make this a great choice for a big party who may all want different things. The variety is outstanding. Service was great. We all left full and satisfied including my picky children. We enjoyed the patio seating very much. Tons of vegetarian choices, tons of choice in general.Vegetarian options: Can get almost anything with tofu, from sushi options to curry.Dietary restrictions: Can get gluten free and vegan.“
“A great variety on the menu. Tried booth hot dishes and sushi. Will be back when visting Gainesville. We sat outside and the atmosphere was great. Jodi our waitress was wonderful.Parking: Parking Garage near by.Kid-friendliness: Very patient and friendly.“
“From an out of towner Perspective this was the best Chinese Spot in town, food was fresh, chicken was good and actually was nice chunks of chicken, the vegetable fried rice was nice and fresh, my meal was on 10 dollars after I got the lemon Ice Tea, the reason why I gave the atmosphere a 4 star because it wasn’t a restroom for customers, thanks for showing an out of towner some love. A must a try spot.“
“Delicious, authentic, and rich Chinese flavors that were needed in Gainesville. The hot bar is easy and quick for some great entrees as well. Portions are plentiful for how much you pay and I definitely recommend trying all the different options they have.“
“Our dining experience was wonderful! Our food was delicious! (although I will never forgive PF Chang dropping their “Orange Peel Shrimp” entree, it was divine and my absolute favorite for years, extra sauce please!) But today while the replacement called “Orange Shrimp” was not the same, it was a good substitute. I had it with noodles, yumm! The crab wontons were crispy and delicious! My friend had the “Beef and Broccoli” and loved it and her fried rice. She also had the veggie spring rolls and loved them with the dipping sauce! The atmosphere was clean and bright, crisp with a lot of wood, yet still very comfortable and casual for lunch. I think it could be cozy and intimate in the evening for a dinner out.But the best part of the experience was our server, Dan! He was absolutely the best either of us have ever had: attentive, sincere, happy, well groomed, very funny, genuine, he’s just delightful! By the time we left we agreed to make sure Dan’s our server each time we go back. I would rate him a 10 star if i could!!“
