“As a true sushi connoisseur, I have tasted tuna in person at the Tsukiji Fish Market, dined in Tokyo, Kyoto, New York and San Francisco and can say with confidence that Benny’s amazing Yamasaki is among the beat sushi restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. They fly the sushi direct from Japan and you can truly taste the difference. I cannot recommend highly enough.“

“So let me tell you. I love their sushi. Good food. Great price. Always good service. Now a beef. I used to eat there twice a month. They give you fried Oreo for desert. Complements of the house. But when I order pick up guess what. They wanted to charge $6 for something they give me free. Used to be a regular and hate to even say something negative but that’s just not right.“

“Stopped in to scope out a place to take my native born Japanese mother. VERY GOOD FOOD - the tonkatsu ramen was fresh and not overly-salty as other places tend to serve. The chirashi was delicious. Will definitely return!“

“Absolutely one of the freshest and cleanest restaurants I’ve tried in Jacksonville. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. The grilled beef skewers were the highlight for me — honestly some of the most tender, fresh, and flavorful beef I’ve ever had. I was told some of their ingredients are flown in from Japan every two days, and you can really taste the quality. Everything was beautifully prepared and the restaurant felt very clean and well cared for. Absolutely amazing. 100% recommend!“

“ALWAYS great food and great service! Very fresh sushi and salads! Their dinners are also always perfect, our favorite is the side filet medium. I love that you can get the usual full hibachi meals but if you don’t want that much food, they have a “side” menu where you can get just the hibachi meat without the veggies and rice. Best Japanese food around!“

“We ordered DoorDash tonight. The food here is great but I decided to add cream cheese to my 7$ shrimp tempora roll, knowing there would be an extra charge as all places do. They charged $8.47 to add cream cheese to a 7$ roll. That’s just insane. I always add cream cheese to rolls at other restaurants and never had to pay that much. Not worth it and disappointed.“

“Took my mom and niece to Tokyo Asian Kitchen, and we all loved it! Our server Hellen was fantastic, she was super attentive the whole night. The portions blew us away for the value. I had hibachi, my niece got a sushi bowl, and my mom had the chicken fried rice. Everything was fresh and tasty! We capped off the night with fried ice cream. We will certainly return: ask for Hellen!“

“This is our favorite local sushi spot! It is a tad pricier (not much), but we've found it's worth it. We typically get pretty basic rolls (spicy salmon, spicy tuna, rainbow roll) which are always fresh. Portions are large for the hibachi as well!“

“Sushi Q has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a quick and satisfying sushi lunch or dinner. Every time I visit they are consistent with the freshness and flavor of their sushi. You can really tell they prioritize quality, as each bite is delicious, flavorful, and well-balanced.
While their menu offers a fantastic variety of options like bento boxes, hibachi, teriyaki, and udon, I always find myself craving their sushi. No matter what I choose, the sushi always hits the spot, but I especially make sure to order a roll or two to enhance my meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable.
If you're looking for a reliable place with fresh, tasty sushi and a diverse menu, Sushi Q is definitely the place to go.“

“We ordered DoorDash. We only received 2 salads and one sushi order. I angrily called them and overreacted a bit for sure. However.... not only did someone from the restaurant deliver the rest of our order, I'm pretty sure they re cooked it all because it was all fresh and delicious.
Major major props to them for putting up with my tantrum from being hangry and fixing the mistake with such respect and courtesy!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!! Also, best sushi in town period!“

“This was my favorite restaurant in Jax. But, the waiter decided to add a 20% gratuity to the total. We were only a party of two, and this typically applies to parties of more than 4. Be sure to check your tickets. He did this to everyone at the table. We will not be revisiting anytime soon. Likewise, he only checked our drinks once.“

My favorite bites of the night were the sticky ribs (unreal—flavor-packed and perfectly cooked) and the bluefin sushi, which was fresh and top-tier. What really made the experience stand out was the vibe: they had an in-house musician playing violin the night I attended, and it added such a classy, relaxing touch that made the whole dinner feel special. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on food, ambiance, and an experience—Serenity is it.“

“Great experience if you like Japanese Steak Houses, staff friendly and food is good. Chicken can be dry which for me I don't like overcooked meat of any kind. If you sit in the dining room and not the Hibachi it can be extremely noisy, case in point waiting area very small and if small children are waiting the wonder into the dining area where a fountain is and become kids. However, I would recommend.“

“Giving it 5 stars because the food is fresh, all you can eat hibachi and sushi for $21 at dinner, and service wS excellent. Is it 5 star sushi, no, is it really good, yes, and for AYCE, at the price point, excellent. Would for sure go back.“
