“Placed an order through UberEats so by the time the food got to me, it wasn't super fresh/the right temp - but I can't fault the restaurant for that! Food was still good though! I liked the salmon roll and the Jimmy Smith roll! I like fried rolls, but I feel like sometimes you taste more of the friedness than the ingredients; the JS was the best of both worlds for me! Fried rice was a little dry but still good, adding some soy sauce helped. Not a fan of the cheese wontons though, the filling was too sweet and wonton shell was not fried/crispy enough - wouldn't order again. I was also disappointed that chopsticks, shrimp sauce, and soy sauce weren't included with the order. I usually get more than enough from other sushi places I've ordered from. It wasn't the end of the world, I had everything but shrimp sauce at home, but I like to put shrimp sauce in my fried rice so that was kind of a bummer. Will definitely be back/order again, but will probably try some gyoza next time instead of wontons.“

We were a qroup of four adults, (two with special diets), one deaf, one that asks too many questions, a very "picky" teenager, and a very picky pre-teen. Total of six in our group. All meals were prepared exactly to our speciciations and needs. We were seated quickly, (we were probably a little loud,) but were attended to with patience, happy smiles and wonderful, well prepared food and service with perfection. “I was able to quickly get my order taken considering there was a full crowd. By the time I got my drink and settled in comfortably, my food was ready. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bowl. It tasted very fresh and light. They supply extra teriyaki sauce on the table if you need it. The seating varies from high tops, regular tables and half-booths. Bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly.“

But when I order pick up guess what. They wanted to charge $6 for something they give me free. Used to be a regular and hate to even say something negative but that’s just not right.“
“They welcomed us in as we walked into the restaurant, which was really nice. We were seated right away and their service was fast and friendly. Our food was delicious. I had the Spicy Volcano Roll which isn’t really spicy but has great flavor. We will definitely be visiting again soon.“
“Our meal was sooo good! My husband and I rarely go out to eat anymore because it seems the quality of the food has gotten so bad in many places. We didn't want to cook and tried Nori - wow! I had the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The chicken was so tender, the dish so flavorful. My husband had Maki Rolls - they were large pieces, delicious. Neither of us could finish our meals. Our server was so pleasant, too. Great atmosphere ... this is going to be our new "go-to".“

“My new favorite Jax Sushi spot. Maybe the best I’ve had in the last few years. I found it today and the food completely blew me away. I’m guessing it’s a family run joint as our waitress was in her school uniform. She did amazing, her recommendations were spot on, and the entire table ate like royalty. I had the volcano roll and chicken teriyaki with the rock shrimp appetizer. Everything was define. The prices were great too. I’ll be coming back so I’ll keep this updated!“
“Got myself the hibachi shrimp dinner with a clear soup and extra side rice, an all in all it was great there was a but of leaking in the bag from the vegetables but the mess was contained, But that's besides the point the food was good the staff on hand was very friendly, Plus they cooked it all up in a timely manner. They also have a nice interior which makes for a nice calm atmosphere in the restaurant.“
“Made our first visit last night and will definitely be back. A great addition to the WGV dining scene which has been so lacking in the area. Immediately after being seated we were given miso soup, before our drink order was taken - how nice. We had the Avocado salad, 4 sushi rolls, beer and wine. The sushi was so fresh and the presentation was WOW! I won't say more, stop in especially at night and see. With the check came deep fried Oreos, never had that anywhere before. The service was very attentive. Stop in for a meal soon.“
“I have been coming here for a while. Recently, I have been enjoying Phillips sushi a lot more! Everytime I come here, the food is always very consistent. The Spicy Crunchy Krab roll is to die for, and I always find myself ordering at least one. They also have platters with different variety of rolls, so you can try out many different rolls. The platters are also good for a family, and affordable to feed everyone. I highly recommend this place if you’re a sushi lover.“

“The sushi here is very good. It is one of our go to non all you can eat sushi places. We have it in rotation. The rolls here are great and the shrimp sauce is my go to style. They have no problems customizing things when requested. Parking can be a pain if busy. The staff is great and they always hit the mark and are consistent. My favorite rolls are the 007, fancy roll, hwy 16, & the OMG roll“
“My server was impressively attentive for having a full dining room and just being a solo diner. The green curry shrimp soup was the best I have ever had and it is my new favorite soup! I also had the Lemon Drop specialty roll which was deliciously zesty. I had never had lemon on a sushi roll and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back with my family and try some more!“

“Sushi X's lunch special is easily the best AYCE sushi deal in the Jacksonville metro. After tax and before tip, it's about $17.25 per person, and everything is made to order (they have a semi-open kitchen so you can even see them making some dishes if you sit at the counter). The quality is pretty impressive for the price and they have a large variety of options. Staff is always kind and accommodating.“
“We have tried Oola Mala several times since they opened and I really like this restaurant. We've tried their Oola Mala pot, beef pot, and lamb pot. We have also tried various sushi/rolls. I have to call out that we tried the Radiant Sunrise Roll, which is more like a couple of ...beef taco? While I laugh a little at it (that it's not a sushi roll), it is really really delicious. We've tried several of their rolls and like how creative they get and mostly are very tasty. In the end, we typically go with the lamb pot and ask for extra extra extra spicy. When it's regular spicy, I find it a bit mild. However, that is purely a presonal preference. The soup base is very tasty, regardless of how spicy you request it. It comes with a wide variety of ingredients. The only downside is that there is not something to keep the soup hot the entire time, which is traditionally, what hotpot is about. So I do find myself rushing to finish up because I like my soup very hot. But overall, when I am craving for a nice 'pot' of soup, Oil Mala would come to mind.“
