How often do you eat in a foodcourt these days? I still remember the heydays of shopping malls and how foodcourts were such a staple part of it. Sarku is one of the originals at The Avenues Mall as far as I can remember from 20 years ago. The food still tastes as good as it was. Still served piping hot with extra Teriyaki sauce on top!
If you are at the Avenues Mall or passing by, you should try Sarku Japan located in the food court of the mall. One of the few places that lasted for years in the mall. I have tried them multiple times and it’s always good. The staff are friendly and the prices are great as well.

Sunday afternoon, no line. I can see why. Your pretty much paying for a container of rice. Barely any vegetables,only shredded cabbage,no broccoli.. . For a place that always seem to have a line very surprised how this basic dish has gone done. The one at the Regency is so much better.
