“As a bonafide sushi snob who’s been to Japan several times and lived in Hawaii for over 25 years I will say Adi and his staff make some great sushi and Izakaya dishes. The otoro hand roll was amazing. Negima and Kurobota pork sausage were a perfect starter. Spicy tuna and jalapeño Hamaichi were excellent. I would definitely eat here again.“

“We ordered DoorDash tonight. The food here is great but I decided to add cream cheese to my 7$ shrimp tempora roll, knowing there would be an extra charge as all places do. They charged $8.47 to add cream cheese to a 7$ roll. That’s just insane. I always add cream cheese to rolls at other restaurants and never had to pay that much. Not worth it and disappointed.“

I love that you can get the usual full hibachi meals but if you don’t want that much food, they have a “side” menu where you can get just the hibachi meat without the veggies and rice. “This place has been my local takeout for Asian cuisine for 2 years now. Our orders usually contain a soup, sushi and a chicken entree. Generals and orange are a favorite choices. Food is always hot even when we get it home! Soups are tasty and seasoned well. Staff is helpful, and always gives us extra sauce when asked. We use the beyond menu from the google page and it’s easy to use once you get used to navigating it. We’re lucky to have this place in close proximity to our home.“

The General Tso chicken is definitely different now and quite frankly the best I have ever had. The number 4 spice had a great blend of heat and flavor. Will be back and add to night out regimen. “This was my favorite restaurant in Jax. But, the waiter decided to add a 20% gratuity to the total. We were only a party of two, and this typically applies to parties of more than 4. Be sure to check your tickets. He did this to everyone at the table. We will not be revisiting anytime soon. Likewise, he only checked our drinks once.“

“As a true sushi connoisseur, I have tasted tuna in person at the Tsukiji Fish Market, dined in Tokyo, Kyoto, New York and San Francisco and can say with confidence that Benny’s amazing Yamasaki is among the beat sushi restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. They fly the sushi direct from Japan and you can truly taste the difference. I cannot recommend highly enough.“

“Took my son here for his 30th birthday with his family. The chef was amazing, entertaining and so good with my almost 3 year old granddaughter. She was a little bit scared of the fire tricks but some way he made her feel at ease and she started having a lot of fun! He gave my son the royal birthday treatment! He even sang happy birthday to him and the entire dining room joined in with us! The food was amazing and well seasoned. The portions were HUGE! Our waitress was always 1-2 steps ahead of us and we didn’t have to ask or wait for anything. Only drawback was I had to purchase the “birthday package” which consisted of an amazing tasting piece of cake for my son and a short drum performance at the end when we were so done that I thought he was going to leave before they came out. That being said it’s was still a 5 star experience.“

“If you’re looking for good sushi at a good price, it’s hard to beat Fuji Sushi. Any of the bad reviews simply don’t understand the business model. The reason they can offer such great prices without sacrificing quality is because they get people in and out fast. You will get all the food you want and more—but this is not the place to linger for hours.“
