Located off State Road 210, JaxSpice epitomizes the best of North Indian, Nepalese cuisine, offering a stunning culinary experience that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I entered, the ambience of the restaurant exuded a higher quality, reminiscent of upscale venues. The warm greeting I received upon arrival set the perfect tone for the evening. I knew this was going to be a great evening!

I chose a cozy booth and started my culinary journey with a mango and rum cocktail. Reminiscent of a mango lassi, this delightful drink transported me straight to India. Throughout my visit, I noticed the ever-present owners diligently overseeing operations, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

As a very selective food critic, I make it a point to vary my choices to sample the best of everything on the menu. To test the range of the kitchen, I sampled a medley of appetizers, each dish more delicious than the last. The spices were perfectly balanced, showcasing the essence of North Indian and Nepali cuisine. JaxSpice has undoubtedly mastered the recipe for success.

The garlic roti and naan bread were highlights of the meal, perfectly buttered and a true testament to the restaurant’s dedication to authenticity. An Indian restaurant that gets its bread right is a gem, and JaxSpice certainly does.

For my main course, I opted for three entrées: a paneer, a butter chicken and a Chicken Biryani. Service and plating was very well done. The dishes? They were fresh, vibrant, and far from the frozen or lackluster alternatives found elsewhere. The flavors presented were rich and exciting, truly a delight for the palate. Compliments to the team!

Complementing my meal, I tried a unique cocktail from the bar—a blueberry gin and bourbon mix. It was strong, flavorful and provided a perfect conclusion to my dining experience.

JaxSpice’s menu ranges from vegetarian to exotic dishes, each layered with texture and flavor. Their team takes great care in the planning and preparation of meals, utilizing popular ingredients such as chilies, mustard seeds, gram flour, coconut, and yogurt.

The bar, while modest, offered a variety of intriguing options. This can all be perused using their online menu via digital tablet. A nice modern touch! Bravo! JaxSpice’s attention to detail and commitment to quality make it a standout addition to St. Johns County. They have successfully raised the bar for Indian cuisine in the area, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit.”

“Went here for dinner tonight and it was amazing!!! I had a chicken bowl and my husband had the tacos with all 3 meats and said the goat was his favorite. Our little babe had the naan cheese pizza and couldn’t stop eating it. We also had a mango lassi and it was delicious and we finished with an order of naan churros and WOW, they were fabulous. You must give them a try. Very fresh and tasty food.”

“The food was freshly cooked the shrimp had a very light delicious batter best fried shrimp I have ever eaten. The fries were very good and unique cut of the potato loved them. I will definitely be making my way back and next time I will try the homemade dessert it looks delicious.”

“Super cute coffee shop we found traveling home. The staff was very friendly and the coffee is delicious. Both the brownie and oatmeal creme pie were great. It's nice to find a good coffee shop not far off the interstate when you need a pick me up but aren't a fan of dunkin or Starbucks.”

“Eliana’s is by far my absolute favorite coffee shop! Their prices are at least half of what Starbucks is and you don’t have to figure out the flavors and how many pumps to do, etc.”

My daughter and I went to the St. John's location where we ordered cocoa waffle, plain Korean chicken, coconut blue, peach green tea with Crystal pearl, fried French toast and a cute plush. Total was about 50$ before tip. All of it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and the inside was clean.”

“I recently ate here and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was great; our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The highlight of the evening was definitely the carne asada. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. The accompanying sides of rice and yuca complemented the dish wonderfully. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food!

“Ordered a Vanilla chai tea, & croissant… it was delicious. My server was nice and professional.. I originally wanted a cheese danish, but they were all out. She took her time to offer some suggestions on what’s good.. and went above and beyond when I wanted to know the calorie count on one of the pastries.
I was greeted when I walked in. She also did with others who walked in. The Bathroom was very clean, floors inside the sitting area was also clean. This is by far one of the best Starbucks I’ve visited. Thank you.. and keep up the great work.”

“One of the best Happy Hours. Drinks are excellent and 1/2 price appetizers are very good. Wish they would add Fried ravioli. Would be great with their marinara sauce. We had a Thursday "special" meal. It was the best beef stroganoff we have ever had! Should be on the menu, even though it isn't Italian.”

“When we got there it was an hour long wait for the grill and a 10-15 minute wait for a regular table. The kids wanted to do the grill but were ok with the regular table after we found out how long we would have to wait for the grill. There were only 2 cooks at the grill tables so we knew it would take some time for everyone to enjoy the presentation. We were seated at our regular table and our waitress was AMAZING even since she was really busy!! Our food was delicious and came out fast!!!! Our drinks were never empty and she was checking on us the whole time!!!! Would definitely recommend Jana's Steakhouse to anyone!!!”

“We stopped by in the afternoon after an appointment nearby, excited to try this place since it had pretty decent reviews and the food looked tasty. We were greeted by a nice lady at the front who seated us right away. However, the floor was unbelievably sticky. With just us and another table in the restaurant, it made me wonder why this hadn’t been addressed. I have to admit, it was a bit of a turnoff, especially with such a great atmosphere. The walls were covered in beautiful murals, and there were lots of interesting decor items to admire.

Our waitress was prompt and friendly, bringing us chips and salsa right away. We ordered the carne asada fries, a street taco basket, a kids' cheese quesadilla and fries, and a surf and turf quesadilla. They were quick to bring out our child’s meal, which we really appreciated. They didn’t bring our appetizer out early, but that might have been because we ordered everything at once—I’m not sure.

The food overall was tasty. My husband ordered two al pastor and one carnitas taco. He didn’t care for the carnitas, but he said the al pastor was amazing and he’d definitely get those again if we go back. The fries were pretty good but didn’t hold up well for leftovers. My surf and turf quesadilla was good, but there were maybe two shrimp in the whole thing—it was mostly steak.

Our waitress checked on us frequently and even offered refills to go, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a decent experience, but those sticky floors really dampened the vibe. That said, the place had a chill atmosphere, and we were digging the music.

Parking: The parking lot was pretty empty when we came but, may fill up during busier hours.

Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu with crayons. Their kids food was about $7, which included an entree and side. My kiddo gobbled up the cheese quesadilla.”
