“I like this place. I really do. The ppl are nice and the service was great. They support the military as well. I was really having a good feeling about eating there. The dishes that comes out looks very inviting and fresh that other patrons have ordered. I see a family to my left, food looks awesome. I have a gentleman to my left, omelette looks so fresh. I get my food, and the first thought that comes to mind is, why my food doesn't look like everyone else's? So just to be cordial, I try it. The eggs are hard and brittle. The steak is so undercooked, or a really bad cut, that you could feel the tendons when cutting the steak. So yes, I was disappointed. Bc sitting down having breakfast is treat to myself. Bc I don't always have the time. So since my food had to be re-made the first time I went there. I didn't want to complain and have the same experience again. I stated my displeasure to a server. I said no thank you, I'm going to leave. The owner met me in the parking lot, and wanted me to come back in for a re-make. He did that the first time. I said no thank you, I'm out of time. I had to get to work. So of course he was not happy with my response, which I can understand. So I told him, I just will not return, and he said please do that. Do not come back! So overall I did not go to this restaurant, to not like my food, leave, get barred, or give a bad review. I just wanted a more pleasurable experience. I wish them well.”
“I’m a patron to this local watering hole. I know 90% of the staff.. but tonight I had the pleasure of meeting the manager JC. Let me tell you.. what an experience.. I was treated like trash. Instead of coming up to the table and apologizing for the inconvenience she took it upon herself to come and start accusing me of being wrong. While in mid conversation she decided that the conversation was over and walked away! I’m not one to complain. Hell we tipped 100% ask the waiter.. it’s not about comping a meal or helping us with the bill. It’s about feeling welcome and let me tell you JC made me feel the complete opposite. I hope this reaches the right people and things change. As you can see I still as a loving customer gave you 5s to not impede on your reputation.. everything was a 5 but JC SHE WAS A ZERO”
“The sushi was not only delicious but also offered a wide variety of options to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful and fresh sushi they served. It's definitely a must-visit for sushi lovers!”
“Great place to get a great slice!Had a meat lovers ($4.50) and a roni ($4). Very tasty. Good NY style crust.$1.50 for a cold 16oz bottle of Zephyrhills water.I read reviews prior to going. Some negative reviews, but what got me was the owner's responses to them. Seemed very thoughtful and appropriate!”
“Domini was our server, and she was awesome. Great suggestions, not overbearing but attentive. I said that it was our anniversary in our reservation that I made online, and she brought us 2 half glasses of complimentary champagne, which was a very nice touch. She waited to see if we were going to order drinks first, though, which i thought was cool. I'm not sure what they would do for non drinkers. She had excellent suggestions for drinks and explained the restaurant's wood fire concept for food. The appetizer we had was the E&I Mexican Street Grit. So good. We were going to get the corn bread, but we like getting things that we would not normally put together at home. Very very good appetizer. The pic only shows one piece. Husband and I each took one piece before I took the picture. Has a slight spiciness which we love but those who dont like spicy I would not suggest it. Husband got the Lincolnville Lager on tap, and it is a very nice light beer. I tried 3 different drinks and ALL very good. I think the champagne toast thing we got was prosecco, and it was good. My first drink, "Oh, you fancy, huh?" Excellent drink to start with. Domini steered me this way when i told her i dont like drinks to be sweet or to tart. Awesome recommendation. Then i ventured to bourbon...an old fashioned. I couldn't help but try because this place seems to know their bourbon, whiskey, and tequilla as they offer flight options. I made my own old-fashioned maple brown sugar, buffalo trace bourbon, and orange bitters with extra cherries. Oh, and paid $1 extra to have it smoked. Deliciousness! Finally, with dinner, I went with the Chimmichuri Steak & a glass of malbec. Chimmichuri steak dinner is hanger steak, so if u can't do MR, then u might want something different. It can get tough after that. I normally would do medium but for fear of toughness and didn't want to risk spending $33 and have a tough steak, so i went medium rare. It was very tender. However, some pieces i would warrant as rare, not mr. My husband ate those pieces. He got the $55 ribeye and said it was ok. He said he would get it again if it was $35-$40. Didn't feel it was worth the price. Also, there wasn't enough demi glace. Im sure if we asked, Dom would have quickly got us some more, its not like we felt that we couldn't we just didn't. Would suggest swapping the fries for the smashed potatoes that the Chimmichuri steak comes with. Veggies were good, but I think they could have had more char on them. Overall we left happy. Total bill was $158 for us. Not bad for 3 rounds of booze, appetizer, and 2 entrees. We will go back and sit at the bar and try some more drinks and appetizers. Thanks for the 1st visit.”
“As always, Grumpy's delivers great food in a clean and inviting environment with quick service. The portions feed me for two meals which mitigate the costs a bit. This new location is bigger and nicer than the one closest to my house which makes for higher turnover and shorter waits to get in. There is indoor and outdoor seating for gorgeous days like today. The best eggs benedict are found here at Grumpy's and large servings if whatever you get are sure to fill up the biggest appetite.”
“Went here for lunch for my birthday on Saturday and had a phenomenal meal. The service was great, the dumplings and ramen were delicious. Will definitely be back.”
“I come here super often and love it every time!! The service is very friendly and the food is delicious! I’d definitely recommend this place to those looking for a good Chinese joint!Vegetarian options: They have plenty on the menu that’s vegetarian friendly!! A lot of their soups, some of their noodles, etc, have vegetarian options!”
“The latest visit was not our normal experience at PDQ. The oil was old that they fried the chicken in, resulting in a bitter tasting tenders. I still recommend PDQ over and other chicken chain restaurants.”
“Great Lil'Gem...This Italian ristorante is the real deal... Food and Service are both top-notch, and the atmosphere is pretty Kool as well...Prices are reasonable and portions are more than enough...FYI,The Butternut Squash Soup was really good...”
“Always accommodating and food is prepped well and delicious. Cold drinks and great staff!Parking: Huge parking lot...never a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed and food items are delicious.”
“We are so pleased to recommend JaxSpice St Johns. We keep going back to try the different offerings on an extensive menu, all of which, so far, have been super fresh and served with helpful friendliness in a very stylish, clean space. Even if Indian food is not on one’s usual list of cuisines, we encourage you to try it! Heat levels range from one to six, so no worries about being too spicy if you would rather keep things mild. There is a full bar, too. Best Indian food we have had in years!”
“we picked up a lunch order while we were in the area. Everything was packed nicely. The cashier, Melissa, was very polite and helpful. The food was very tasty, and the chicken soup was delicious. Going to order it again when we return.”
“Almost didn’t want to post this hidden gem so it’s not crazy busy next time I come, but the food was too good not to. 10/10 experience, food, service and atmosphere was immaculate. Ask for Antonio when you come in, you will not be disappointed!”
