“As the Celebrations Director of Discovery Villages of Deerwood, i am always looking for good places to take My Residents for their Lunch Outs. M Shack at Town Center was top notch...in every way. From helping each one with their order to Doggy Bags To-go. We had 9 guest visiting. The shake machine was down initially but as soon as it was up, a staff member made sure everyone got their order in and delivered. One gentleman sat at the bar with his beer and the bartender. Wine was enjoyed with the Porta Bello and oh my the loaded tater tots! Burgers were cooked to perfection. And trust me...I work with a very picky crowd! Above all... Royce was such a gentleman and extremely attentive to all of my sweet people. They all raved about our visit all the way home. They serve sushi and have a kitchen for their cooked food. They are opened for lunch and dinner and both are good. Just know, their right front entrance door has some type of super suction unintended weirdness, so you have to pull open with intention. I LOVE this place and the food.”

Cute little place that is in the same building as UF Health but does have a separate entrance. I had a London Fog (Earl Grey latte with vanilla flavoring) and it was delicious. I also had some vegan banana bread that was so-so. Guess I should have gotten the honey badger after reading all the other reviews here. Overall though it was a nice find.”

“I'm in heaven! I've never been so happy after eating food. I just tasted the most delicious spinach spiral, displayed in the case, at Tony's pizza. I love their Margarita pizza, but the spinach spiral with dough filled with mozzarella and maybe ricotta and lots of garlic and oil is over the top! This is the best kept secret in Ponte Vedra. Tony's has the real Italian flavor I remember from NY many years ago.”

“This is my daughter and I's go-to take-out Chinese spot and it's worth it every time to make the 25 minute drive from our house! You can see the woks in the kitchen as you approach the counter and they make everything to-order. And the food is always piping hot and consistently fresh every time. My daughter and I always dine in. I tell people that it is a solid, straightforward Chinese takeout place where the food comes out in a timely manner and is fresh and hot. Aesthetics are definitely not their priority, and I really could care less about that as long as it's clean… And this place is very clean. The restaurant is a family run business-grandma included- and sometimes you can see their children either helping out or killing time on their tablets at one of the tables. And the family is so sweet! In my last visit, I took my daughter as well as a couple other kids who were friends with my daughter. They didn't have enough water bottles that were cold, and sent one of their kids with cups to go get ice so we had some ice water. Because the place is small and no-frills, I get concerned about their ability to stay in business. I really hope more people patronize them and give them a chance. You can't beat good people and good food and a straightforward business.”

“I love finding hidden gems, and Jonis Pizza was exactly that.

Susan and I were heading to one of our favorite restaurants, Fionn MacCool's, when we noticed Jonis Pizza tucked away in the same shopping center. Somehow, despite being in the area many times, we had never stopped in. That changed this week, and I am glad it did.

The restaurant is cozy, family-owned, and immediately feels welcoming. The aroma of garlic and fresh Italian cooking hits you as soon as you walk through the door. We started with the Garlic Cheese Bread, which was perfectly toasted and loaded with flavor. We also enjoyed the Fresh Mozzarella Appetizer, featuring fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and pesto that allowed the ingredients to shine.

As someone who grew up in a large Italian family in New York, I take Italian food seriously. When I saw Stuffed Shells on the menu, I knew exactly what I was ordering.

What happened next surprised me.

The Stuffed Shells at Jonis Pizza earned our prestigious Best of the Best Award. The shells were filled with a rich blend of cheeses and topped with a perfectly balanced sauce. The waitress explained that her mother makes them from scratch, and it showed. The dish immediately brought back memories of a favorite Italian restaurant from my childhood in the Bronx. For decades, no stuffed shells had matched those memories. Jonis Pizza finally did.

Susan ordered the Chicken Francese, and it was equally impressive. Tender chicken, perfectly prepared angel hair pasta, and plenty of flavorful lemon sauce made this a standout entrée.

The service was warm, friendly, and personal. You can tell this is a restaurant that takes pride in both its food and its customers.
