“The sushi here is very good. It is one of our go to non all you can eat sushi places. We have it in rotation. The rolls here are great and the shrimp sauce is my go to style. They have no problems customizing things when requested. Parking can be a pain if busy. The staff is great and they always hit the mark and are consistent. My favorite rolls are the 007, fancy roll, hwy 16, & the OMG roll“
“I went here over a holiday weekend with my parents, and it was very nice. The restaurant was only about a third full and several tables could have used a wipe down. The service was alright (except we had to ask for our bill). They put our assorted ordered sushi rolls on a "sushi boat" (a large platter shaped like a boat) with some extra decorations. It was a thoughtful gesture. All our rolls were delicious and came recommended from our server. I attached a picture of the leftovers we brought home.Bonus- it is located in a strip mall off A1A, and the restaurant has lots of free parking right outside.“
“They welcomed us in as we walked into the restaurant, which was really nice. We were seated right away and their service was fast and friendly. Our food was delicious. I had the Spicy Volcano Roll which isn’t really spicy but has great flavor. We will definitely be visiting again soon.“
“Best ramen spot, no questions asked. It's the only place I will recommend in all of Jacksonville, and I've been to many. The reason is simple, their broth is real. Every time I get ramen, if the broth doesn't get me full, then it's not real; i.e., it is a paste added to water (looking at you modu). This place is the only spot that gets me full. People who drink soup should know that real broth should make you full if it was made with real bones because it's loaded with fats and proteins.“
“Came with a group of friends for dinner, food was amazing, the server was even better! This is exactly what Jax beach needs! They even have a guy who opens the door for you! Why aren’t more places providing service like this anymore? Ask for Lana, you won’t be disappointed!“
“I had a nice experience at Kingdom Sushi. The food was good and had very unique fusion of Japanese - Brazilian. If you love sushi's then you will probably like this place. For appetizer we enjoyed the shimeji, gungga by kingdom, ceviche and the salmon carpaccio. The yakisoba and miso soup did not stand out. They were just okay. For the sushi's, my favorites were the chef maninho roll, djoy, California rolls. Most of the sushi were actually good. We also tried their temaki, sashimis and nigiris. Everything was good. For dessert we had ice cream sandwich and banana nutella roll. For the drinks we ordered Sake Lychee and Ichigo. Both were very refreshing. The ambiance was nice, there was a live acoustic music which is a plus for me. The servers were nice and friendly however the service was a bit slow. Also another reason why I gave this a four star was because the price of their All You Can Eat, its over priced compare to most other AYCE sushi places in town.“
“This establishment comes highly recommended for good reason. ???The sushi ROLLS are top-notch. ? While the ambiance may not be overtly romantic, it's an ideal spot for enjoying great sushi with friends, family, or that special someone.Little sushi roll gem right here , I found myself returning twice in one week. Enjoy your visit!??“
“The most delicious Pad Thai we have ever tasted and the sushi was very fresh and delicious as well! Let’s not forget the customer service and presentation- both top notch! We are very thankful that it is so close to our home as we will be frequent visitors!“
“Today was blabdad daughter #2's ninth birthday. We celebrated at one of the best Thai restaurants in Jacksonville. The ambiance was amazing. The customer service was fast and friendly. I didn't have to tell them in secret that it was her birthday. Our waiter, Ben, did an excellent job recognizing this special occasion. You have to see, believe, and dine in this place. #happybirthday #blabdaddaughter #greenpapayarestaurant #thaifood #jacksonvilleflorida #beachboulevard #customerservice“

“Even though this location is almost a half hour away, the food was amazing enough that I would definitely come back to try more. The decor and lighting were beautiful. I ordered a Mai Thai once everything was settled. I wish it would have had grenadine and less ice, but it was still good nonetheless. Afterwards, we had the Salmon Mango Tartare. Which was amazing. The flavors paired together very well. I'm not much of a fruit and seafood girl, but this tasted great. After that, they brought out hot appetizers for everyone to try. Gyoza, shumai, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and edamame. I tried everything except the crab Rangoon since I don't like cream cheese. It was very good and not greasy at all. They brought us nigiri next, followed by sashimi. I had the yellowtail and tuna, as those are my two favorites anyway. We had the Birds Nest roll followed by the Volcano Roll. Both were delicious. And they set the volcano roll on fire at the table. It was beautiful. They brought out hibachi, with steak, chicken, and shrimp. They had broccoli, zucchini, and carrots as the vegetables. And finally, they brought out the mochi. I tried the mango and strawberry since green tea has always been too bland for me. All in all it was an amazing time with really great people. I can't wait to try again!Vegetarian options: EdamameParking: It's in the corner of a plaza. Parking behind was small before you had to go around the building.“
“As soon as we walked in regardless of how busy it was on a Saturday night, we were greeted and sat down within a few minutes. We ordered 3 sushi rolls and the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer. Very good portions and prices. The server was attentive and took good care of us and brought the drinks with the food out fast. We also ordered two cold flavored sakes (Pineapple, Tangerine)“
“The food and the service were absolutely excellent! The menu is extensive and every morsel devoured at our table was delicious. We celebrated a birthday and the staff made it even better without us asking for anything. Tokyo is the BEST and we will be back with even more friends.“
“The best sushi in jacksonville! Definitely visit if you are in town they have a great menu with lots of options and go out of their way to do special extras that make it even more special! The staff is amazing and the food is delicious! Highly recommend!“
“Zhanna is the loveliest server! She always remembers what we like to drink before we even order it and she is so kind and attentive. It is such a pleasure to come and see her when we come to Volcano for dinner, like visiting an old friend. We are new to the area and she spent so much time with us getting to know us and made excellent menu recommendations! The food is always fresh and delicious at Volcano and we love Zhanna!“
“At age 70 years, the most enjoyable, healthy, fun, happy family meal I have had. Great food. Great Company, great service, parking very close. GREAT STAFF. THANK YOU SO MUCH!Vegetarian options: Servers are extremely aware of all ingredients in all dishes and make clear what is available to substitute if needed. They made great suggestions for any restrictions. As well as vegetarian selections on the menuDietary restrictions: Everything was fresh cooked. Very tasty. We were a qroup of four adults, (two with special diets), one deaf, one that asks too many questions, a very "picky" teenager, and a very picky pre-teen. Total of six in our group. All meals were prepared exactly to our speciciations and needs. We were seated quickly, (we were probably a little loud,) but were attended to with patience, happy smiles and wonderful, well prepared food and service with perfection. We will be going back frequently!“
“This place is awesome! A true hidden gem! We will in the neighborhood behind this location and just recently tried it for the first time and wish we would have tried it sooner. We are not big sushi people but this is now our place to go when we want it! We brought the sushi home to eat and it was EXCEPTIONAL!!! 10/10 would recommend“
“I absolutely love this place, I first discovered it in late 2022 when I moved to Jacksonville to go to UNF, and I have been going a few times a month since then. I have never had a bad experience there regarding food quality or service, it has always been amazing quality food. I highly recommend this place for sushi and Japanese food. All the food is made to order which is surprising for this kind of restaurant, I am used to them being premade, so it’s a nice touch that it’s made when you order it specifically for you. I wish I could give this place more than five stars.“
“Always a wonderful experience here. Almost biweekly regular in a group of 2-4 people. Very good service.Vegetarian options: There are vegetable based roles and then hibachi options that have no meatKid-friendliness: It is a rather calm atmosphere. Well behaved kids fit perfectly, but children who are more loud do not fit as well. Good options for child friendly foodWheelchair accessibility: Only one door opens. Push/pull style door that isn't as big.“
“I love sushi burrito! It was my husband's first time here and he enjoyed his burrito too. We had the dynamite burrito and the dancing shrimp burrito and split them so we could both try them. Both were delicious! The dancing shrimp burrito was very fresh with the seaweed salad in it. This place is clean and the owners are friendly.“
“Sushi palace sat my wife and I in a booth right away and took are drink and then food order quickly. Hot sake, miso soup, edamame all before the main course of sushi and sashimi that not only looked very fresh it tasted excellent! The sushi chefs know what they are doing here.“
“My family and I had a nice Hibachi Dinner at Jana's. We went on Friday night at about 5pm, at that time we were seated immediately and there was only one other table open. We received very prompt service and thankfully they were very open to any customizations we had. Myself and hubs both had the Filet Mignon hibachi combo ( which by the way is only like a $1 more then the regular combo with sirloin!) he doesn't eat the veg so they allowed him a sub of double rice. My kids had the kids steak hibachi dinner. They mentioned if we didn't like the veg or rice we could sub out noodles, extra rice or any other variety which was really nice. After receiving our soup/salad the dinner show soon began. Our cook had a great personality and kept the entire table entertained. We noticed another table receiving showers of Saki during their show but that didn't come up at our table :( So maybe that's dependent on whoever you get?? The serving sizes were MASSIVE he kept adding on to our plates. Rice, then vegetables followed by the meats. The Filet was so well cooked, very tender and flavorful. One thing to point out they use a LOT of garlic. I love the stuff but to some it may be too much... We all loved our meals, even my pickiest kids. Enjoyed the show and service. My only complaint was at the end, another table was getting their dinner cooked and the SMELL OF OIL burning in the air got INTENSE! (That's why I deducted a star). I get super sensitive and had to walk away from my family while they finished up to get fresh air outside. There was no fires, nothing out of the ordinary but just how the smell came our way was way too much. So overall if your looking for a fun family dinner outing check out Jana's. You won't leave hungry! Just get there early enough as they don't take reservations and by the time we left about 630 it was PACKED! I noticed many people come in and leave due to the wait. The bar is right at the waiting room tho so there's that!“
“Came in one night for a quick bite to eat. I had ordered a house salad with ginger dressing which was really good. Didn’t get pictured though sorry… it was really good. My wife and I ordered shrimp tempura roll which was really tasty. I of course ordered mine with a soy paper which again was fantastic. She also had the crab with cream cheese which she stated was good. Would recommend this place as it also was very quick on service and the staff was extremely friendly.“
“Service is awesome. 30 mins before closing and they still let us dined-in. Unlike the hibachi place 2 mins in distance. Sashimi is super fresh and no unlikely taste and smell. Tempura and chicken hibachi are also great. Will visit again.“
“My husband and I eat here at least twice a month. Super friendly, great food. Sushi is fresh tasting and the hibachi which is done in their kitchen is always top notch.Vegetarian options: The seaweed salad is delicious! They have vegetarian rolls.“
“I should say NA for atmosphere, because I've never actually been inside, I've always ordered out. But this place is the best rendition of any Sushi House that I've ever been in Jacksonville. The portions are pretty generous and very tasteful. Even the miso soup, which I usually never get, was delicious. You can tell that the owners and chefs really care about what they're doing and what they're serving.“
