“Our meal was sooo good! My husband and I rarely go out to eat anymore because it seems the quality of the food has gotten so bad in many places. We didn't want to cook and tried Nori - wow! I had the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The chicken was so tender, the dish so flavorful. My husband had Maki Rolls - they were large pieces, delicious. Neither of us could finish our meals. Our server was so pleasant, too. Great atmosphere ... this is going to be our new "go-to".“

“* Wheelchair accessible. * This place seems to be hit or miss with reviews and we kinda know why.We came here with some friends to eat before heading up the road to the Alligator Farm. When we walked in, it felt awkward because the place had a couple of tables with folks but it was so quiet. Was like entering a library. It was super clean and a small intimate dining space. It does get busy in there.We were impressed with the sushi selection and the service! We mostly ordered sushi rolls. My husband ordered the Pad Thai and friends ordered other chicken and rice dishes. And for our children we ordered a Bento Box. They also have Japanese sodas available to order as well.The sushi was incredible. Each entree, including the sushi lunch special, comes with a small bowl of salad with a citrus dressing and miso soup.My kids ate almost half of my sushi. Whenever I buy sushi, it sometimes ends up in crumbly mess. None of our sushi came apart which was awesome. The bento box was amazing. The shrimp tempura and fried rice bento was excellent. The shrimp were the size of prawns.We think the mixed reviews are do to the other dishes such as Pad Thai. It was a lot of sauce for the amount of noodles and lacked peanutty flavor. When we return we will skip the Pad Thai and stay with the other dishes.The servers and sushi shef were amazing with drink refills and getting our orders out timely and all at the same time. (There were 7 of us.) It is always difficult whenever food is served at different times and there are kids in our party so that was really nice.We will definitely be back.Parking: There is more parking at the bbq restaurant nextdoor if there is no place to park at this establishment. There is cut through to access sushi. ^^“
“Made our first visit last night and will definitely be back. A great addition to the WGV dining scene which has been so lacking in the area. Immediately after being seated we were given miso soup, before our drink order was taken - how nice. We had the Avocado salad, 4 sushi rolls, beer and wine. The sushi was so fresh and the presentation was WOW! I won't say more, stop in especially at night and see. With the check came deep fried Oreos, never had that anywhere before. The service was very attentive. Stop in for a meal soon.“

“Tanks is always so good. Great local place. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. We usually get the Cali roll, dynamite roll, Godzilla roll, spicy tuna, salmon roll. Their hibachi meat is tender and not dry even when we ask for less sauce. Service is always courteous, chill and on it!“

Hubby and I split two orders of pad see ew (easily modified to be vegan) and an order of the pad kra-pow basil. “Kingfish Grill has some of the best seafood. Whenever we come down that way, we always have one of our dinners there. The view from sitting outside is something I can definitely get used to. The water, boats, sunset, and of course the food and drinks are fabulous.The wait staff is super friendly, as well.“

“We had a nice dinner here last night. Service was very good, as was the food. I enjoyed the different sauces that were available at each table. My only complaint (and not the restaurants fault) would be the pigeons that were hanging around us during our entire meal. They seemed to bother some of the people dining there (but indoor seating would take care of that problem). Fast service, good food...I would definitely return and recommend!“
“The sushi is always good here. I think it’s better than a lot of the sushi I’ve tried here in St. Augustine. I’ve been to quite a few. We had the Green River Roll with seaweed wrap instead of the soy wrap, Red Corner Roll, Fire Belle Roll and the Dragon Roll. The Green River was my favorite and very delicious. My kids got avocado and eel rolls and they loved them. They also have the Japanese strawberry soda drinks with the balls you push down, and the kids loved those as well. The server was a gentleman and he was very attentive and nice. The overall atmosphere was nice, but a little loud because a big party was having a birthday. It was a Saturday night, so I recommend going on a weekday or for lunch if you want a quieter experience. I will definitely come back because their food is very fresh and very tasty. It was on the expensive side though. I remember when sushi rolls were in the $10-12 range, now it’s $15 at least a roll. We spent on food and drinks $150 including tip for a family of four.“

“Came here with my sister on a Saturday at 2pm! Food was delicious, service was almost immediate, price was completely affordable— we each got soup, dumplings, sushi, and hibachi, all for 35 bucks. Our servers were kind and quick!! DEFINITELY worth coming here. A perfect little hole in the wall.“
