“Oooooookay, let me just say Mr Campbell(soup) was ALL TOO accommodating! Didn’t want the 4 cookie box, so he packaged my cookies in 2bags for me. I got the rolled oatmeal, and triple chocolate and MY OH MY……!!!!!!!! I also got a scoop of dragonfruit strawberry sorbet(I could’ve gotten those backwards) and I wanted a waffle bowl but they didn’t have any so he hooked me up with those waffle crisp thingymajigger things, and he was so thrilled about it, he asked if I wanted sprinkles, I said no at first, but he wanted to work his creativity so bad I gave in. “Had a late lunch there on Tuesday, into the evening and I got to say the server working that side was amazing. She appeared to be everywhere. She was professional and funny. Her sense of humor is gold and truly the reason I will be back. My wife and I live about 3 mins away. It boggles my mind why we didn't come here before. But now that we know, we'll be back each Tuesday and asking for Catie. I suggest anyone else new to the restaurant do the same. You won't be disappointed. “We are not locals but this will be a must go to whenever we are in St. Augustine. All the staff were wonderful. Met the owners, chatted a bit and they are wonderful people. Food is great, wonderful view, covered and open dining with a great view of the river. Live music was the best.“

“I was on vacation when I saw this restaurant in St. Augustine FL. I saw the menu and said I have to go in and get something! I am a grilled cheese connoisseur and I make some good ones myself but oh my gosh, the grilled Mac and Cheese I had with I can't remember what kind of meat was AMAZING! So was the tomato soup! This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! If you love grilled Mac and Cheese or just grilled cheese in general and you love tomato soup, you have to eat here! I promise you will not be disappointed at all! “Vibes are impeccable, food is even better! We stumbled upon this place after a kayak tour half a mile away. The menu seemed our speed and we’re in from out of town. Not only was the food unbelievable but the music playlist gets an A+ from an Elder Emo like me. They played Pinback, The Postal Service, of Montreal… some stuff I haven’t heard in years. I’ve living in large cities and I’ve never found a spot quite like this one.

The menu has options that are really great for anyone with food sensitivities. My husband and I don’t have any so we ordered the breakfast burrito and the egg sandwich with wheat on both. They serve breakfast all day which is super sick and have a good variety for a smaller spot. I expected the food to be good, but it was even better than I anticipated. The vegetables were fresh, everything was cooked perfectly, and it was a really chill place to eat a meal and get great service. We’re only in town for a few more days, but we’ll be paying another visit before we leave.“

However, we stopped by a few nights later to eat here again and were told we weren’t able to eat inside, even though there was nobody seated inside. Other than that, we really enjoyed our experience here. Our server disappeared halfway through dinner, but was quickly taken over by somebody else and they never missed a beat. The food was absolutely fantastic. We split the two meals, and they even had pre-split them for us before they came out. Highly recommend! Great backyard area if it’s not too hot!“

My family and I consider it our go-to and almost a second home when you want the home style cooking, without the necessity to do your own dishes. “We ate at the Purple Olive for the first time this past Saturday night. It will certainly not be our last time. What an incredible dining experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is so delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server Jennifer was on point. Our water glasses were never empty, she gave us great tips about the menu, and struck the perfect balance between being responsive and giving us space. I had the macadamia crusted salmon, and I cannot honestly say it was the best salmon I’ve ever had. The flavor was delicious and it was cooked perfectly!“

We’ve visited St. Augustine many times, but this was our first time discovering this incredible restaurant, and what a find! We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and stumbled upon The Collage online. Thinking it would be quiet on a Wednesday night, we didn’t make a reservation. Despite being fully booked, Megan, the restaurant manager, went out of her way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. Our server, Franco, was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We began with the beef carpaccio and watermelon salad; both beautifully prepared. For our main course, we each had the 8oz filet topped with gorgonzola sauce, and every bite was mouthwatering. Between courses, we were treated to a refreshing raspberry sorbet to cleanse our palates—a lovely touch. For dessert, we shared a warm pound cake with raspberry coulis and fresh whipped cream, paired with perfectly made espressos. The ambiance was quaint, cozy, and romantic,ideal for a special occasion like ours. We especially loved that the menu changes regularly, offering something new to look forward to each time. We ate at plenty of other nice restaurants in St. Augustine, but it seemed as though their rating was inflated, and I can only assume it is because the only restaurants in this beach town are not that great, except this one.“
