“What an amazing place. The food was fabulous. I had the chicken, eggs and cheese grits. OMG that breakfast was the best. The grits were excellent and I am super picky about my grits. The eggs were cooked perfect and the chicken was juicy and delicious. I then got the best biscuit I have ever had with cinnamon maple butter. Perfection from start to finish. Mari (the owner) was friendly and helpful. She took time to engage every customer no matter how busy she was. For you first timers parking is limited and it's counter ordering. There is not a lot of seating inside (fyi). BUT do not let either of these things discourage you the FOOD is absolutely, whole heartedly worth it. It's open Wednesday thru Sunday 8am to 12 noon. Do not walk; run to The West Egg! ENJOY“

“We are not locals but this will be a must go to whenever we are in St. Augustine. All the staff were wonderful. Met the owners, chatted a bit and they are wonderful people. Food is great, wonderful view, covered and open dining with a great view of the river. Live music was the best.“

“I recently moved down here from outside of Chicago and have never tried this place. My coworker brought some in one day and I tried it and was amazed with the Carnival donut (it tastes like an elephant ear from the fair up north), so I signed up for their rewards/promos. They sent me a $5 coupon to use as a courtesy for signing up, so I had to go back! I just went today and got the vanilla Carnival, Sandy Beach, and a free French Toast donut (it was national donut day!). I am not exaggerating in any way that these are the best donuts I have ever had, and they are a lot cheaper than what I expected. The donut is MASSIVE and so fresh. I honestly think the Sandy Beach donut is even better than the first one I tried. They didn’t have any left in the case when I got there, but the worker there offered to make me one! So sweet. The staff member that helped me, Zoe, is so helpful, welcoming, and very kind. This is a very clean business as well with super fast service. I will be buying these every time one of my friends comes in from out of town because these donuts are phenomenal. 1000000/10!!“

“Staff acts like they are doing you a favor by existing. The food is poorly constructed garbage. The wait time is long, which is worth it for good decent food, but not here. Served an egg sandwhich with not even enough egg to cover 1/2 of one piece of toast. Asked for another egg, was refused. The woman then walked into the kitchen right next to us and starting talking negatively about me knowing I could hear. I was with my 4 and 7 year old and my daughter noticed it. She has a reputation in town for being nasty. She assumes you are a tourist and doesnt care about the quality of her product because she counts on you not coming back to the town anyway. She already has your money, who cares if you had good service or decent food. The bathrooms are as gross as the way you are treated as a patron. Read all the reviews SOOOO many are people having the same experience!“

“It only took 1 morning for us to fall in love! Then we came every morning the rest of our week vacation. From the coffee to the owners everything is first-rate!! Heck I even learned how to make pie crust and quiches because their’s is so good! Such a great place to sit with friends or snuggle up on the front porch swing with a good cup of joe and a book. AND I can’t forget about the gorgeous array of flowers. It’s as if you’ve walked into a magical forest of happiness!“

“There is not enough Stars for the Starbucks on State Road 16 in St Augustine Florida I think there needs to be an option to add more stars because their customer service was phenomenal I'm talking about I felt a good Hospitality this is serious and her service not just hers every lady that was in that store came across with excellent quality and customer service so I told the lady I think I know what I want but I don't I want a coffee with a lots of espresso and with flavor and she recommended me the new brown sugar oats shaking espresso delicious that lady knows her business great job thank you all I knew is I wanted coffee“

“I got a London fog latte on 10/3/2022. I also got one last week from the same Starbucks. Both times the person taking the order was super friendly. I forgot what my order name was and they helped me out. Both times the person who took my payment was super friendly and chatty. I felt nice after leaving. Drinks were super hot, exactly what I ordered.Also no line, which I know is nothing they can control if a bunch of cars show up, but the 11am timeframe is great!“

“We just needed an unpretentious cup of coffee and the guy who served us was great. We also got cannoli, a raspberry bar and snickers doodle to share...with the very polite pigeon pair outside. We enjoyed music from a neighboring establishment while we relaxed in the sunshine.“

“The coffee here is outstanding. It is very rich and flavorful, and just absolutely delicious. 10,000x better than Starbucks. Starbucks and other big companies like that taste watered down, but the mocha latte and espresso shot I had was extremely flavorful. Service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice as well. Definitely would recommend— coming back when we come to St. Augustine again.“
