“Had a late lunch there on Tuesday, into the evening and I got to say the server working that side was amazing. She appeared to be everywhere. She was professional and funny. Her sense of humor is gold and truly the reason I will be back. My wife and I live about 3 mins away. It boggles my mind why we didn't come here before. But now that we know, we'll be back each Tuesday and asking for Catie. I suggest anyone else new to the restaurant do the same. You won't be disappointed. Her food knowledge was great, her being at the table and clearing our dishes, her overall personality is a win for us and why we will be back. Also, we do love a good salad bar. “Always ask your server where they go after work! This place was the perfect suggestion. We are traveling with a puppy and were welcomed on their patio. The atmosphere was very relaxing and made sense as a local haunt without snubbing the weary tourist. Irish coffee at 11:00 pm? Yes and thank you. Thumbs up to Barley Republic.“

“We were on vacation. It was late and we wanted something to eat. Whataburger was one of the latest restaurants that stay open. The food was good. The service was great. The young man that helped us with our order also explained some of the good things to view around town. He was so helpful. I believe the night was May 23rd and he was just getting off work as we were ending our order. Prices were very reasonable also“

“I ordered a Classic Chicken Sandwich, and told them I wanted the chicken fried. The waiter rang it up as grilled though. They remade the ENTIRE meal ON THE HOUSE just so the chicken could be grilled. They even gave me a free milkshake! Also plenty of hospitality with both the waiter and the cook coming to ask me if the food was okay. Great service. 5 stars!“

“My wife and I came here for our 31st anniversary. A highly rated restaurant. My meal, steak bowl, was very tasty. The steak was tuff. Over cooked I think. My wife had a fish meal. I forget which. She was very disappointed in the taste and quality of her meal. I have NEVER see my wife complain about a meal before. When our waitress (she was great!) Asked how the meal was my wife told her. Later a woman, not a lady, came to our table concerning our dissatisfaction. She seemed to be insulted and left in a huff. Normally a dissatisfied customer is given a discount or a free dessert. Something. Nothing was offered. What should have been an enjoyable dining experience for Saint Augustine residents celebrating their anniversary was left lacking. 🤢“

Addie at register had great smile and greeted us warmly. Simon served us and took care of us on the floor and told us Robert cooked our food. It was the best chopped steak dinner I ever had...My husband Will had a 10 pc shrimp 🍤 😋 dinner and I believe they were bigger and better than ever. Nick stopped at our table like a trusted friend and Ari delivered a Turtle Sundae 🍨 that was amazing...gratitude really turned around our day.
