What better place to try out than a restaurant that specializes in chicken and was even within walking distance?Hurricane Grill and Wings had been on my radar for a long time, and now I finally had the perfect opportunity to check it out. Located in the heart of Fleming Island, similar to some other places I've reviewed over the past year, the business is in a great spot no matter whether you're looking for a spot to watch sports or grab a quick bite to eat while out running errands.I walked in and was immediately greeted by the hostess who got me seated and arranged for the waitress to come by within 2 minutes. I chose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather North Florida's having now that it's finally starting to cool off a little (comparatively). It was also a little quieter too with a good view of three separate football games... at least until a family with a baby chose to sit at the table right next to me. Nevertheless, I didn't let that bother me and continued to enjoy the games while also getting some online Christmas shopping done.For the order itself, I chose a staple Blue Moon along with the Cancún Chicken Wrap served with natural-cut fries. This was exactly what I was looking for, and the meal hit the spot. The tortilla was grilled perfectly crispy on the sides, and the fries needed no additional sauces or seasonings to make them better. Perhaps the only thing that could have made the wrap better would have been a choice of sauce (aside from the sriracha ranch offered) or a side of sauce/salsa included in the meal.Service remained great throughout the meal with my assigned waitress checking on me multiple times to ensure that my drinks were filled and that I did not need anything else. She was also very knowledgeable on the restaurants numerous drink options.Give this place a shot and you won't be disappointed!“

“Finally tried this cute diner/ restaurant. It didn’t disappoint ! Walked in and was greeted immediately ! My first impression was how clean it was ! You Oder at the counter and pick up at the counter, but then they clean your sanitized table! Food was very good ! Very reasonable, $10. For a pattymelt! And super hot crispy fries! My pet peeve! I want my food hot especially fries! Also had the grilled chicken Cesar wrap ! Loved that the wrap was also grilled! Makes the sandwich hot when served! Next time have to try the deluxe apple pie with ice cream, caramel and homemade whipped cream! Definitely will return! Thanks we need good restaurants in the area ! And this is a good one!“

“I came in on a Wednesday afternoon, I had the absolute pleasure of being taken care of by Aliycia at the bar! She was very quick with making my drinks while also taking care of multiple other servers and guests! My food came out lightning fast, the guys in the back are on top of their stuff! Also had the pleasure of meeting Nate Carty, he was the GM! He runs a tight ship while being extremely caring and helpful to the guests! The owner was very friendly & explained the differences between a couple of the sandwiches, options, etc. The lunch was fresh, the seasoned fries exceptional & a sweet tea was perfect - and pricing was easy on this retirees budget. A discussion with the owner also revealed that they can make up trays besides individual sandwiches. So keep this restaurant in mind for family gatherings when you want to provide reasonably priced easy poolside lunches! “Great Customer Service! I pulled up in the drive thru about 10 minutes before closing and ordered 3 meals plus a large order of onion rings. I got a plain bacon cheddar burger but 1 of the burgers wasn't made correctly (it was only supposed to be plain but they gave us another bacon cheese burger) and they also gave us an extra burger with everything on it. I pulled back through the drive thru (which was after they closed) to get it fixed, but they already had shut down the grill. They let us keep both the burgers and gave us 2 coupons that were for an entire order.“

“Was recommended here because of the great wings. Wings definitely some of the best. Overall we had an excellent experience. Only complaint is that it was pretty densely packed. Maybe a little bit more space between the tables. The reason I say this is even the waitresses had issue navigating. One waitress ended up dropping a tray on the table next to us.“

A small fries is about the equivalent of 4 large McDonald's fries.I love that 5 guys still has the peanuts to grab and eat. 5 guys delivers one of the best burgers in the fast casual market. At this location, you'll find great service. On this particular meal I ordered through Uber Eats. Service was prompt and everything I needed was provided. My cup o fries was accompanied by about 4 times the cup in the bag. A traditional 5 guys maneuver.I've been in the location as well and the restrooms are always clean. The dining area is always clean. And the location is handicap accessible and close to tons of retail shopping.“

“The Pub is our local friendly neighborhood meeting place. A large spacious dining room with a bar and a large outdoor seating area that faces the golf course. The friendly staff always greet you. The food is good and plentiful (hamburgers, fries, various sandwiches, Shepherds pie, coconut shrimp). They provide various events and music. We always enjoy our time at the Pub with our family and friends.“

“Oh my goodness. I have had such outstanding service the staff went above and beyond my expectations the chicken wings were cooked to perfection. We ordered the 20 piece and had it split 10 Medium buffalo sauce and my had the honey barbecue. Had enough for snacks the next day. We went with friends one had burgers and the other fish and chips both were very happy. As I said earlier the staff ensured we were happy with the food we were served. We will be back! ?“

This particular location is a shining example of the Five Guys brand: fast, friendly, and freaking delicious. “Drive thru. Whoever the young girl is with the really long brown hair and bangs needs a RAISE or something. This just happened. She was delightful and really funny despite the horrendous situation with the car in front of me who was speaking to her for 10 minutes before even giving her payment. Food gets a 2 because i asked for no ketchup and extra EXTRA mustard and the kitchen put ketchup and a dab of mustard. I know she put in the system only extra mustard. Cashier understood and took it back and even put in extra mustard packets in the bag for me. She gets five stars.“
“I went on a Sunday afternoon. Very quiet. I had the patty melt and fries. The patty melt is always my go-to when I eat here. The fries are hit and miss. This time, they were not too bad. Sometimes, I can tell the grease is not fresh, and the fries have that dirty grease taste. Service was average. That can be hit or miss as well, depending on the server.“
“I usually get the 3 piece chicken strip meal deal (box) it comes with three pieces of chicken fries a drink and a Sundae. You can always upgrade the Sundae to a different item such as a blizzard . I always use the drive through since it looks like a pain to park,it does get busy in the evening,and I was once told they ran out of chicken so I ordered something else I cannot remember.
