My MIL is Celiac and finding places that take the precautions to avoid cross contamination can be tough. I called and spoke to an incredible waitress that took the time to ask the cooks if they could accommodate her allergies and they said, Absolutely, come on it and we will make sure to clean the grill and use fresh utensils. She was able to have an amazing meal with us and we appreciate their efforts!! For anyone looking for great tacos, burgers, and salads - with an awesome atmosphere and kind staff, please go check this crew out!! Ps kids night is Tuesday nights!!“

“We had a wonderful experience! Everything was absolutely perfect. It was very decently priced and worth every penny. Our server Nicole was super kind and attentive and the food was just as excellent. We ordered burgers, chicken sandwhiches and the steak. All of our food was cooked to perfection and our drinks never got to be empty. The environment wasn't too loud and everything was really clean. If I could give them more stars I would. “We were in the area and decided to stop by, and we’re so glad we did. Allie was our server, and she did not disappoint. Her customer service and knowledge of the menu were outstanding. We started with the crab cake—wow! The flavors were incredible, and the portion size was perfect for an appetizer. The red wine was served perfectly chilled. For our main course, we had the bison short rib with fresh mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the difference here—they specialize in fresh, made-to-order food with no freezers or microwaves, and it shows. This will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. “I’m over here emotional and was just thinking about how grateful I am for so many incredible things in my life and the way God is just working through me to push me into the woman that I am meant to become… Then I started thinking about how God talked to me and led me to Grumpy’s Middleburg location last Friday, December 6th. What I did not know, is that God leading me there would answer all of my prayers and instantly transform my life. After their wonderful waitress (I believe her name was Ashley) told my husband and I of the daily specials, I decided on their blueberry cheesecake waffle and he got the surf and turf omelette (while also incredibly delicious, we aren’t here to talk about that). Now, it’s important that I note that I like waffles, but my go to is a classic crisp yet fluffy flavorful French toast, which is my favorite breakfast there (I literally always order it… I’m a creature of habit). Well, at least I thought I was. That is, until this life changing waffle shifted my entire perspective on who I truly am at heart… A CERTIFIED BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE WAFFLE FANATIC. 😭😭 As I lay here sad and heartbroken listening to the rain pound on my window sill, I am unable to focus on studying for my last final (I graduate on Friday!!), because I am reminded of the heartbreaking reality that this world altering waffle was just a special, and I may never experience another amazing waffle like that again in my life. Not my wonderful husband, nor my amazing children can replicate the immense joy I felt on first bite… 😭😭💔 That cheesecake lifted my spirit in a way only it could do, through Gods mercy and grace. It spoke to my soul stronger and wiser than any worship song I’ve ever heard. It washed away my sins immediately on request and made me anew. I’m fully convinced that this waffle could bring world peace and prosperity for all. The thought of never experiencing it again is a reality I may have to face. I just have to find solace in knowing that while I never thought I’d get to experience Heaven in my lifetime, on that beautiful sunny Friday morning in December 2024, I did just that, here on earth. My only regret is that I did not resist immediate temptation, and stop to take a picture of that magnificent miracle before I dug deep in and devoured it (there goes one of those pesky sins that I mentioned it washed away) along with my husband (goodness gracious, if sharing MY miracle with my husband doesn’t show true unconditional love, I’m clueless as to what does… you’re welcome, honey! 😉)! Now, Grumpy’s deserves all of their FLOURS plus more, so that they can continue to do Gods work and bless the community through their angelic creations. Thank you for all that you do to change lives one miraculous meal at a time. You truly have a customer for life who is eternally grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon me. 🙌🏾🙌🏾😂😂😭❤️ **Not to mention, the customer service was beyond exceptional, as it always is!** And P.S. “Man, I have to say that this is the most underrated breakfast and lunch spot! Been going here for years. Loaded homefries with gravy are amazing and the Club sandwich for lunch is huge!! “I went on a Sunday afternoon. Very quiet. I had the patty melt and fries. The patty melt is always my go-to when I eat here. The fries are hit and miss. This time, they were not too bad. Sometimes, I can tell the grease is not fresh, and the fries have that dirty grease taste. Service was average. That can be hit or miss as well, depending on the server.“

“Always enjoy going to this location on Tuesday nights after roller skating. Our waitress, Nevesha Green, is the best! Always cheerful, great service and has most our regular orders memorized! The food is usually pretty good also!“

“Dewey’s on NAS Jacksonville was a great surprise. The menu is simple, with basic military-style cafeteria food that’s been upgraded a notch, and the prices are hard to beat. Most meals were very affordable, and even the most expensive option was only around $15 and came with a generous portions and sides.

I ordered the Dewey Club, and it was massive. It was stacked with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a great sauce and served neatly cut in half with the toothpicks :) The fried pickles were fresh, hot, and excellent. The mozzarella sticks were also hot and crispy and came with a requested large serving of marinara sauce. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Our waitress, Susan, was the highlight of the visit. She was energetic, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. She accidentally forgot my wife’s Caprese salad, but when she came back to check on us and realized it, she immediately apologized and handled it with humor and professionalism. My wife ended up sharing half of my sandwich and was completely satisfying , so it all worked out.

One thing that always makes a restaurant experience better is being served by someone who truly enjoys what they do. Susan made us feel welcome, comfortable, and appreciated as customers.

Electric Night Bar & Grill is hands down my favorite spot in town. The wings are the best—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right every single time. And don’t even get me started on the fried pickles… absolutely addictive.

“I have been a regular here for a while. I don’t know how to title this review but if I could I would call it, “How not to be a Karen in a Restaurant.”
I come here during the week almost daily to sit at the bar and get work done that I had no time for during my school day. The happy hour prices are also a great bonus!
I come here because the staff is warm and like family, and just as important, the food is awesome and you can tell that the GM Zee takes pride in all aspects of this wonderful spot.
Today I had to take a half day from work and had the opportunity to come in early for lunch. I also must disclose I have extensive hospitality management experience, and that I’m not an entitled human being.
I saw something today that should be on everyone’s DON’T EVER DO THIS list.
I can’t help but pay attention to what’s going on around me. I was at the bar when I noticed a scene starting. 2 women and a child were dining with one of the best servers I’d ever had. Apparently their order was running behind. The server was on top of it and got Zee (The GM) involved. They had ordered an item that takes a long time to cook and an app that should’ve come out faster than it did. Both Zee and the server apologized and offered other items while they waited.
Here’s the WTH Karen part. This woman jumped up and chased the GM down to tell him he was rude. I’m sorry, offering to help is not rude. The man has a game face because he cares. Her entitled self got up and yelled at him in public. I’m embarrassed for her and how our society is devolving. Don’t be a Karen.“
