The chicken and potato salads were fantastic! The pita chips were crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The potato soup was the best I’ve ever had. The iced tea was refreshing. They were very good with my little ones and the dining experience couldn’t have been better. This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last. Loved our experience.“

“As the Celebrations Director of Discovery Villages of Deerwood, i am always looking for good places to take My Residents for their Lunch Outs. M Shack at Town Center was top notch...in every way. From helping each one with their order to Doggy Bags To-go. We had 9 guest visiting. The shake machine was down initially but as soon as it was up, a staff member made sure everyone got their order in and delivered. One gentleman sat at the bar with his beer and the bartender. Wine was enjoyed with the Porta Bello and oh my the loaded tater tots! Burgers were cooked to perfection. And trust me...I work with a very picky crowd! Above all... Royce was such a gentleman and extremely attentive to all of my sweet people. They all raved about our visit all the way home. “Man, I have to say that this is the most underrated breakfast and lunch spot! Been going here for years. Loaded homefries with gravy are amazing and the Club sandwich for lunch is huge!! “I went on a Sunday afternoon. Very quiet. I had the patty melt and fries. The patty melt is always my go-to when I eat here. The fries are hit and miss. This time, they were not too bad. Sometimes, I can tell the grease is not fresh, and the fries have that dirty grease taste. Service was average. That can be hit or miss as well, depending on the server.“

“Dewey’s on NAS Jacksonville was a great surprise. The menu is simple, with basic military-style cafeteria food that’s been upgraded a notch, and the prices are hard to beat. Most meals were very affordable, and even the most expensive option was only around $15 and came with a generous portions and sides.

I ordered the Dewey Club, and it was massive. It was stacked with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a great sauce and served neatly cut in half with the toothpicks :) The fried pickles were fresh, hot, and excellent. The mozzarella sticks were also hot and crispy and came with a requested large serving of marinara sauce. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Our waitress, Susan, was the highlight of the visit. She was energetic, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. She accidentally forgot my wife’s Caprese salad, but when she came back to check on us and realized it, she immediately apologized and handled it with humor and professionalism. My wife ended up sharing half of my sandwich and was completely satisfying , so it all worked out.

One thing that always makes a restaurant experience better is being served by someone who truly enjoys what they do. Susan made us feel welcome, comfortable, and appreciated as customers.

Electric Night Bar & Grill is hands down my favorite spot in town. The wings are the best—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right every single time. And don’t even get me started on the fried pickles… absolutely addictive.

If you’re a wing lover, Wednesdays are a must—wing night specials make it even better. Great food, great vibes, and a place I keep coming back to. Highly recommend!“

“My wife, my sister, and I had a wonderful meal at the Bartram Park First Watch restaurant restaurant! It was our “one day early” Valentine’s Day meal together. It was a five star meal and five star wait- staff! Without knowing that I was fumbling with my phone I mistakenly somehow posted review with no comments. It was definitely a five star meal from the friendly and hospitable welcome through the delicious meal and the flawless Service by the excellent waitress. “I have been a regular here for a while. I don’t know how to title this review but if I could I would call it, “How not to be a Karen in a Restaurant.”
I come here during the week almost daily to sit at the bar and get work done that I had no time for during my school day. The happy hour prices are also a great bonus!
I come here because the staff is warm and like family, and just as important, the food is awesome and you can tell that the GM Zee takes pride in all aspects of this wonderful spot.
Today I had to take a half day from work and had the opportunity to come in early for lunch. I also must disclose I have extensive hospitality management experience, and that I’m not an entitled human being.
I saw something today that should be on everyone’s DON’T EVER DO THIS list.
I can’t help but pay attention to what’s going on around me. I was at the bar when I noticed a scene starting. 2 women and a child were dining with one of the best servers I’d ever had. Apparently their order was running behind. The server was on top of it and got Zee (The GM) involved. They had ordered an item that takes a long time to cook and an app that should’ve come out faster than it did. Both Zee and the server apologized and offered other items while they waited.
Here’s the WTH Karen part. This woman jumped up and chased the GM down to tell him he was rude. I’m sorry, offering to help is not rude. The man has a game face because he cares. Her entitled self got up and yelled at him in public. I’m embarrassed for her and how our society is devolving. Don’t be a Karen.“
