Last night was somewhat disappointing , the service was great, the atmosphere was good, but the food was not where it should be, the taste was ok, but the presentation was not very good as it looked like the food was “thrown” on the plates, never had this experience. Hope this was a one time glitch from the kitchen.“

“The staff, Server Evan and Executive Chef Jared were the tops! The meal was EXCELLENT and surpassed any expectations we had previously. Evan was funny, attentive and respectful. Chef Jared made a special trip to deliver our food to our table and apologize for not having a certain side dish. He even wished us a happy anniversary. The only detractor was the noise level. But I guess that should be expected with all the people that patronize this eatery. Overall, if we could give this establishment a “10 out of 5”, we definitely would. We will MOST CERTAINLY be coming back.“

“This was my first time eating at J. Alexander and I was so pleased with everything about this place. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a group of 10 of us celebrating the birthday of one in the group. Our server Misty was awesome, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered. Now to the food, WOW!!! everyone enjoyed the steaks, crab cakes, salads, warm bread with butter, celantro shrimp and to top it off the warm carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Yum,Yum. The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! “Been going here since they opened. Its my daughter and my Favorite restaurant at The Beaches! They are the master of poaching eggs, and the best crabcakes in Jacksonville, and believe me I've tried them everywhere! The food is unbelievably fresh and creative, lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Full bar, real espresso machine, creative and fabulous coffee drinks and cocktails. Sam was our server this morning for my daughter's birthday brunch, she was perfect, thank you Sam!
all the staff are so professional. The place is immaculate. Servers even pick up straw wrappers off the table every time they walked by. Service is fast efficient and fun. They have their act together better than Most of the high-end places in this area. Its always packed , lively and fun.
To the whiners out there that complain about something tiny like people being loud, well that's the sign of a successful, fun and vibrant Restaurant. Other places in Jax should learn from this place.“

“My wife and I recently discovered this place and have really enjoyed golfing and dining here. Tonight at dinner, we witnessed two young men (probably 20) come in and have an altercation with the manager behind the bar. It was clear they had been witnessed misbehaving on the course and came in to start trouble. The manager was extremely professional, courteous, and calm. My wife and I both own/run businesses and we were very impressed. Alli would be an asset to any organization…but we are glad she’s here.“

“We planned a quick last minute wedding, and Kira was beyond accommodating. She was always available, and her communication was on point. Texting, calling, showing up…she always made time for me even if she was in the middle of something else. We originally reserved the dining room for our family reunion, but due to extenuating circumstances, our brunch turned into a last minute wedding celebration instead. Kira went over all our options and recommendations, sat down with me to plan the seating arrangement, and brunch menu, and even created a fancy custom drink menu for us. The venue was beautiful. The views were gorgeous. The buffet display and food was amazing. The table settings and linens were lovely. The bartender and wait staff were phenomenal. They made this day so perfect in every way. they went above and beyond & I cannot rave enough about our wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Kira.“

But this location is night and day by comparison. Manager was very friendly and checked in on us a few times, food was very good, and my wife really enjoyed the cold brew offered. Bill is high because in this economy we time heavy for service. Actual bill was $44“
