“Menu states that you may wait up to 50 minutes so be prepared.
The pizzas are average however they have a good specialty ones.
Price are fine 16 inch pizza for 2 and a drink $34.
The place is kind of dark but the plaza where is at is very nice so seating outside is great. Bathrooms were clean.“

“We were in the area and decided to stop by, and we’re so glad we did. Allie was our server, and she did not disappoint. Her customer service and knowledge of the menu were outstanding. We started with the crab cake—wow! The flavors were incredible, and the portion size was perfect for an appetizer. The red wine was served perfectly chilled. For our main course, we had the bison short rib with fresh mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the difference here—they specialize in fresh, made-to-order food with no freezers or microwaves, and it shows. This will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. Thank you for a superb dining experience and an amazing fresh meal!“

“The bone in filet mignon was sooo tender and flavorful. One of the best I have ever eaten. My wife had the lobster special Oscar style and she raved about it. Service was amazing and the atmosphere nice and quiet. We have eaten at the Washington D.C. location many times and this was our first time eating in Jacksonville. Definitely will be eating here again on our next trip to Jacksonville. Absolutely Marvelous!“

The cooks, servers, and staff were, as always, quick, thorough, and the food was delish. Ibelieve I've had nearly everything on their menu now and it never is less than excellent! “Had quite a wait but it was lunchtime. Tried to order ahead got answer then click. So had to walk in and order then wait outside for just about 30 minutes. They were busy and it was lunch time so it was understandable. If you read this….. call ahead like 45 minutes in advance. The food is excellent and definitely worth the wait, if you have the time.“

“One year ago we lost a very dear friend, co-worker, family member and loved one! We went to seasons 52 to celebrate his life and brought with us (his ashes). The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! “This was my first time eating at J. Alexander and I was so pleased with everything about this place. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a group of 10 of us celebrating the birthday of one in the group. Our server Misty was awesome, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered. Now to the food, WOW!!! everyone enjoyed the steaks, crab cakes, salads, warm bread with butter, celantro shrimp and to top it off the warm carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Yum,Yum. “Man, I have to say that this is the most underrated breakfast and lunch spot! Been going here for years. Loaded homefries with gravy are amazing and the Club sandwich for lunch is huge!! They definitely do not skimp on the portions. I honestly stop here if not everyday it'll be every other. The people there are super nice! I have nothing but well wishes for all yall in there! Keep doin what yall are doin!“

“I went on a Sunday afternoon. Very quiet. I had the patty melt and fries. The patty melt is always my go-to when I eat here. The fries are hit and miss. This time, they were not too bad. Sometimes, I can tell the grease is not fresh, and the fries have that dirty grease taste. Service was average. That can be hit or miss as well, depending on the server.“

“Dewey’s on NAS Jacksonville was a great surprise. The menu is simple, with basic military-style cafeteria food that’s been upgraded a notch, and the prices are hard to beat. Most meals were very affordable, and even the most expensive option was only around $15 and came with a generous portions and sides.

I ordered the Dewey Club, and it was massive. It was stacked with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a great sauce and served neatly cut in half with the toothpicks :) The fried pickles were fresh, hot, and excellent. The mozzarella sticks were also hot and crispy and came with a requested large serving of marinara sauce. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Our waitress, Susan, was the highlight of the visit. She was energetic, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. She accidentally forgot my wife’s Caprese salad, but when she came back to check on us and realized it, she immediately apologized and handled it with humor and professionalism. My wife ended up sharing half of my sandwich and was completely satisfying , so it all worked out.

One thing that always makes a restaurant experience better is being served by someone who truly enjoys what they do. Susan made us feel welcome, comfortable, and appreciated as customers.

“Years sago, my wife & I tried this specific location twice. We're usually "3-strike" people but the experience was so bad. they got 3 strikes in two visits! For this Thanksgiving, we decided to take my wife's mom but this was the only location we could get a reservation. We were reluctant to go but some friends of ours had been recently and said it had changed a lot... positively. Man has it changed! The GM, Mark, came by and spent some time talking with us. He has done an awesome job in turning things around! The food and service was excellent and the place was cheerful. We had to do a double take just to be certain we were at the same place. Our server, Ms Frenchy, was amazing! She was friendly, engaging and fully involved with providing us with grade a service and a contagious smile. She went above and beyond to insure our Thanksgiving was awesome. We will definitely be returning for a future date night.“
