The pizzas are average however they have a good specialty ones.
Price are fine 16 inch pizza for 2 and a drink $34.
The place is kind of dark but the plaza where is at is very nice so seating outside is great. Bathrooms were clean.“

“Marco’s is probably one of the best pizza places and this location is a fine example. The staff is very competent and friendly. The consistency is well above average and the pizza is almost always perfect. Definitely worth the premium over other big names. Always has been my go-to for pizza place for a few years now.“

“JL’s has been a staple to my Navy family since the early seventies. We moved from Guantánamo Bay Cuba to Jacksonville.. Dad 95 years old and I had another great dinner! Liz, took care of us tonight, she went over and beyond the call of duty! I told her I wanted to get a new t-shirt when we finished dinner. We place our order and next thing I know she brings out several T-shirts for me to choose from! That’s, that extra little touch that goes a long way!“

We started with the crab cake—wow! The flavors were incredible, and the portion size was perfect for an appetizer. The red wine was served perfectly chilled. For our main course, we had the bison short rib with fresh mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the difference here—they specialize in fresh, made-to-order food with no freezers or microwaves, and it shows. This will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. Now a days places just throw eggs on a plate and call it a meal but this was a whole experience. One of my friends is very picky and is one of those girls that has to ask 15 annoying questions without reading the menu and Reagan was so patient with her and kind. I never write reviews but we all had such a good time that it left us talking about going back the very next day. I highly recommend asking for her and getting the cute little waffles they have!! 10/10 (plus they have mimosas so of course it’s a win win )“

“I’m from out of town and stay in the Baymeadows area for 2 extended periods during the calendar year. Metro Diner Southside has been my go-to breakfast stop for the past 6 years. The staff is so much fun to deal with, and it’s flattering to know that they recognize me whenever I stop in. The usual fare for me is standard food (omelettes/fried egg, meat, hash browns, toast); however, today’s choice was the pork chop & eggs special. Thoughts? This needs to be placed on the regular menu. Wow! The pork chop was “over-the-top” delicious and was a perfect match with the other items on my plate (OE eggs/HBs/biscuit). I’m hoping (praying?) that this dish stays on the specials list through this weekend! Special shoutouts to my 3 favorite servers (Rachel, Jacklyn, & Monica-all in a tie for 1st place) and to today’s greeter (whose name I can’t recall and apologize for that). All of them are friendly, efficient, and lots of fun to chat with. Keep up the great work. See y’all over the weekend!“
