“Was in Jax Beach from Maryland and was thrilled to visit Jax Beach Boil. Not sure which was better, the conversation with Doran, the owner, or the food. Both were fabulous. Such an easy, fun dinner for our group. Doran packed us up and all we had to do was pop it on the stovetop. Quick, delicious and generous portions. We also added some Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw. Yummy! Can’t say enough great things! Stop in and grab a pot - you won’t be disappointed!“

“My wife and I visited today for our anniversary. Everything about this place is top notch! Our server, Ryan, was exceptional and very friendly. There was a good atmosphere and the food is probably the best Indian cuisine that I have ever had. They even went above and beyond and gave us a free desert to celebrate our anniversary . If we are ever back in the Jacksonville area we will make sure to come back! If you live in the area or even hours out of the area, I can assure you that you will enjoy the food! Be warned: portions are generous so make sure you come hungry!“

“This has been one of my favorite places to eat for over 20 years. It says something when most of the staff have also worked there for over 20 years. It’s the “Cheers” of the beach. The drinks are super strong, staff is always attentive, and the food is fresh and fast. The kitchen is very clean as well.“

“Friendliest service. Couldn't ask for more. They always make it extra spicy just like I ask, and everything is on point. The general Tso is epic. The Lo mein is amazing, and the bean sprouts really give it a special touch. Crab Ragoon, and the pot stickers...cant get enough of them. I literally drive 30+ minutes out of my way passing many other chinese resturants just to go here. Trust me, try Chan's, and you won't regret it!“

“Being from Philly , I follow this bar on Facebook and said to myself if I am ever in Jacksonville area I am going to stop. Well after a 14 hour drive on Sunday funday I finally got the chance. Dropped our bags at the Fairfield inn in Jacksonville and walked around the corner to the bar. Wow the bar was packed with Eagles fans, I felt like I was home watching the eagles game with my friends in northeast Philly . Meet the owner as soon as I walked in, his staff was very friendly and even walked up to me saying, hey I have a table that is getting ready to leave. Give me a minute to clean it up and you may seat down. Seating down in a bar in Florida with a packed house of Birds fans watching the Eagles go up 7-0 in the first quarter was awesome. Listening to the E-A-G-L-E-S chant and everyone high five each other. The people next to us at our table were amazing after talking with them, the girl’s family with from the NE father judge area . Cheesesteaks were very good and the beers were ice cold . A big plus for me they served Michelob zero . “We have only 1 very big complaint with our trip to Europe his restaurant. We travelled all the way here from Louisiana ( 800 ) miles. We are here for the 1st time on business and are staying 2 blocks away in a hotel. We looked online for a while and decided to walk to Brix . The online prices are different than the prices on the menu in the restaurant. I brought it to the server’s attention. So be aware the prices are a few dollars higher than what is showing online. This is one of the problems with today’s businesses. Please go online and make the price changes. It’s as if they do it to bait you in knowing you’re going to stay and order anyway. So unfair to the customer!“

“We went on a spur of the moment trip last weekend and loved it so much we came back the next weekend! Isaiah at the front desk brings so much cheer and happiness to the place. He is truly a light and does his job amazingly. We love that there is a restaurant attached to the hotel so we never even have to leave (we have a 2 year old and 3 year old) they also have a cute cafe and the coffee and chicken biscuit is very good! The only thing I would say could be better is the valet service. We went on the 4th of July so we knew it would be extremely packed. Just wish we could Park ourselves and pay an overnight parking fee instead of having to wait 45-50 minutes to get someone to bring your car around.“

“Stopped here after a drive through Jacksonville, I cant turn down a waterfront bar and grill! Had a great time with strangers who made me feel like I should move down there! My food was PIPING HOT and my drinks were phenomenal. The outside bar staff is super nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!“
