“First time there and I've lived here for years ! It was a birthday celebration for my daughter .Even though they were busy we were able to sit outside ALL 12 of us . A 5 star review all around! Will most definitely be back ! Best blackened shrimp po'boy I've had in awhile !“
“Came with a group of friends for dinner, food was amazing, the server was even better! This is exactly what Jax beach needs! They even have a guy who opens the door for you! Why aren’t more places providing service like this anymore? Ask for Lana, you won’t be disappointed!“
“The fried shrimp were excellent, and my friends call me Bubba when it comes to shrimp. The cheese grits were great, cole slaw too. The hush puppies tasted a bit off to me, maybe fried in the same fryer as fish? We need one of these stores in Manatee County, and sell shrimp in paper bags by the 1/2 and 1 pound. I grew up around shrimp houses where you could just grab a bag of shrimp and some cocktail sauce and cruise down the road. Great place to eat, nice employees.“
“Refinery continues to amaze me. Ive been here 4+ times and found new things on the menu each time. The appetizer and entres have never ceased to amaze me. The dinning room is perfect for dinner, with a post dinner drink in the ocean breeze downstairs. This place doesn't miss.“
“A Great experience and Michael was the best as usual!! If you haven’t had the pleasure, be sure to ask for him. He is fun and makes dining so pleasurable. When customer service has been lost in so many other businesses this Carabba's does a great job!“
“Jamie Jamie Jamie!!!!!! Best waitress ever!!!!!! She doesnt meet a stranger if you having a bad day honestly go see her to brighten your spirit. Shes the sweetest. Me and some trucker friends came to see her for lunch and we wanted to bring her back with us. The energy that comes with her is so amazing. You can clearly see she enjoys what she do and love to meet new people. Today we gained a sister & a friend cant wait to come back here just to see her pure soul again. Jamie if you see this, THANK YOU! ❤️“
“We had family in town from out of state and they wanted seafood close to the beach. This was our first time eating here. Our waiter was very good. He was friendly and quick. The food was really good. I tried Basa fish for the first time and it was petty good. Everyone really liked their food. The bad part. It’s expensive. Our meal for 9 people was $527 including the 20% tip. There were two drunks sitting at the largest table in the place that our family really needed to be sitting out. They were loud and obnoxious. Dropping F bombs really loud. I wish management could have stepped up and told them to leave. Two drunks sat at that this large table almost the whole time we were there.Another table opened up and we had to split up our family and move some to another table. That was okay. We were all really cramped at the one high top table. They kind of ruined the whole meal for us. The waiter kept apologizing. I felt bad for the staff. I think they were trying their best to hurry up the drunks to leave.“
“This was my first time visiting RP’s.I met a business associate late in the afternoon for a quick meeting around 3 o’clock.I quickly discovered that this restaurant is a very social place to be and the bar area was quite full.We settled into a high top table in ordered the shrimp skewers appetizer.Which was plenty for me. There were lots of lunch items as well as dinner items on the menu that we could’ve tried and I’m sure would’ve loved just as much .We discussed our business in an open atmosphere and both agreed we would be back. There’s lots of surf and beaches memorabilia on the walls which I absolutely loved. The restaurant has parking in the front with about 15 spaces and then parking in the back which was great for me with about another 15 to 18 spaces and was very easy to get out of.I like the menu, and if I wasn’t trying to shed a few pounds I numerous possibilities. Our waitress was just absolutely delightful, and kept us full of coffee and iced tea with the offer to give us a cup,to go which we took her up on .“
“The food and drinks were delicious and, while sitting at the bar, I could barely hear the kitchen staff SINGING so happily and it just made it that much more amazing!!! I ordered one shrimp chimichanga but wished I would have gotten two - one for later because it was so tasty!“
“A hidden gem of a location on the water with outdoor seating before the bridge (coming from Jacksonville Beach) toward San Juan Blvd. We easily got a table on a usually busy Wednesday evening versus the much "nicer" spot across the bridge that had no space. The prices for the quality of the food was amazing and the seafood was fresh along with everything being cooked to perfection. The Buffalo shrimp were reccomemneded by our server Alisha who was very sweet and made sure we were well taken care of. I really enjoyed the views here and it felt luxurious as a date night option.Vegetarian options: The hummus was very, very good and they have fresh vegetables as sides. The broccoli was cooked perfectly which is hard to pull off in a restaurant setting. They had a cottage cheese salad that sounded really yummy when we went.Dietary restrictions: If you're allergic to seafood this place is most likely a no go.Parking: It's open parking right in front and across the "road" which is a gravel road along the bridge because this place is next to the bridge leading towards San Juan Blvd from Jacksonville Beach.Kid-friendliness: There was a large outdoor section that seemed like a good place for large groups/families.“
“What an awesome place!!! Had lunch with my wife here & didn't know quite what to expect & it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic & the service was equally great!!! Our server was on point & very pleasant... thanks for making the experience that much better!!! We live in Ft Lauderdale & we'll definitely be back!!!“
