“I’m an outsider here from the gulf coast of Texas on a work trip, this place did NOT disappoint by any means.

The service, awesome!
The atmosphere, great!
The food, outstanding!

“Was in Jax Beach from Maryland and was thrilled to visit Jax Beach Boil. Not sure which was better, the conversation with Doran, the owner, or the food. Both were fabulous. Such an easy, fun dinner for our group. Doran packed us up and all we had to do was pop it on the stovetop. Quick, delicious and generous portions. We also added some Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw. Yummy! Can’t say enough great things! Stop in and grab a pot - you won’t be disappointed!“

“We planned a quick last minute wedding, and Kira was beyond accommodating. She was always available, and her communication was on point. Texting, calling, showing up…she always made time for me even if she was in the middle of something else. We originally reserved the dining room for our family reunion, but due to extenuating circumstances, our brunch turned into a last minute wedding celebration instead. Kira went over all our options and recommendations, sat down with me to plan the seating arrangement, and brunch menu, and even created a fancy custom drink menu for us. The venue was beautiful. The views were gorgeous. The buffet display and food was amazing. The table settings and linens were lovely. The bartender and wait staff were phenomenal. They made this day so perfect in every way. they went above and beyond & I cannot rave enough about our wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Kira.“

“Just finished dinner at Mavi (Jacksonville).

I had the fried snapper. It was fresh and fried really well, but it just didn't have much seasoning, so the flavor was a little underwhelming. Was it bad? No. Was it fresh? Absolutely. I just wish it had a little more seasoning.

The standout was definitely the service. My server, Jonathan, was attentive from start to finish, checked on me regularly, made recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed without having to flag him down. Great service like that is hard to find these days, and it really makes a difference.

The atmosphere was nice too, with a live band that added to the experience.

Overall: the food was okay, but the service was excellent. I'd come back for the atmosphere and Jonathan's outstanding service.“
